  1. im with it 100%.
  2. pro wedges actually do hook pretty well, but due to the fact ama labels them a paddle tire, i never bothered running them. i agree. ive run them on hard packed dirt and they didnt hook too well.
  3. whose bike has won the most races?
  4. if you cut them, good luck getting turned going fast around corners.. they will want to push you forward. watch this for example.
  5. its all gonna depend on riding surface, tires, swingarm length, rider weight and power.. its gonna be hard for any of us to pick the right gearing for you simply because of all the variables.
  6. thats pretty funny. must be her personality?
  7. yea i can think of a couple right off hand.. shayne, is that 4 cyl banshee the one that GT built? guy lives in KC?
  8. the lugs on the knarlys are too close together and too hard for trail riding. they just dont hook that hard when they are uncut. for trail riding i recommend stock yfz450 tires because they are cheap, lightweight and wear pretty well.. i run them on my yfz450 now. my next trail tire will be these.. they are beefy, hook hard and arent too terribly heavy. http://farmandsandtoys.com/partdetail.asp?partid=174
  9. stock crank im assuming? itll be cheaper and easier to scrap the whole thing and buy a new or used one. im sure someone here has a used one. PM "NYUK". hes prolly got 10 of them laying around.
  10. hahaha fuck yea, i just reread it and his are uncut.. i read it several times earlier and it didnt even jump out at me that he said uncut.. i agree, uncut knarlys arent worth a fuck. the lugs are entirely too hard, but thats what makes them a good tire when you cut them. by the way, where you been travis? you need to stop in more..
  11. first i cut off the lugs with a sawzall with a course wood blade. then i used an electric heated sticker remover to remove any excess.. what is your setup that you arent getting these tires to hook? swingarm length? tire pressure? also, what dirt? i find it hard to believe you cant get these tires to hook. ive got plenty of videos to show the hooking power of these tires. my 450 wont even turn them over.
  12. id stay away from trinity for the mere fact they are fucking crooks.. and a bunch of incompetent ones at that.
  13. since kevin is your builder, i would see what he recommends.. im thinking 33mm pwk.
  14. welcome to HQ look around and dont be afraid to ask questions. TONS of information here. if you need parts, make sure you check out the site sponsors. they can offer you parts and services at great prices and with excellent customer service.
  15. i personally like road head... i mean, i run a NOSS head of course. pretty simple to install. looks good. the one piece looks nice, i just dont really have any reason to switch.
  16. stock gear is riveted on and will have to be ground off. PM "NYUK" here on HQ. he prolly has a basket with gear laying around.
  17. haha sweet. seems pretty accurate to me. my 3g goes in and out all the time.
  18. yea, everything i have heard is nothing but praise for brocks hard work, whether it was for amateur wrestling or the wwe crap. i like the guy. he isnt a fucking puppet and says what he feels. sure, he rubs people the wrong way, but some champs are boring (GSP). i mean, talk shit every once in a while. i just hope brock gets better and starts whipping people again. his size, strength and athletic ability are going to make it hard for anyone to beat him. thats cool about tito. he comes off as a prick sometimes, but i think hes probably a genuinely decent person.

    If my wife

haha, ive seen crazier things happen.. but yea, thats kinda wack.. hot girl : "so, what kinda bike do you ride?" dude: "i ride a husqvarna baby." hot girl: "oh."
  20. yes it makes a huge difference. kenda knarlys uncut are a pretty worthless tire. the lugs are too hard for them to work uncut. the pros of cutting these tires are: 1. reduced tire weight 2. increased traction there really arent any cons to cutting these tires. they serve their purpose. i wouldnt trail ride them, but as far as straight line dragging or hillclimbing on dirt, they cant be beat. as far as tire life, the last set i had lasted me like 3 or 4 years. we have about 10 hillclimbs per year. if these tires didnt work, i wouldnt use them. ive tried and tested a ton of dirt tires over the years. these are by far the best.
  21. no i didnt. wouldnt surprise me. the 3g is def limited to certain areas. good thing for me is that i mainly use my phone to make calls so i dont have to worry about it too much. i figure all phone companies have something wrong with them.. its too bad att has the worst phones of all the companies. seems like verizon, sprint etc all have a better selection of phones.
  22. im currently working out a deal with CBS to sell them the drama for a tv show that gregrob brings to HQ.
  23. 20x11x9 kenda knarly cut and run at about 2 PSI. these tires were on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place bikes in District 23 Hillclimb and the 2nd, 4th, 5th and 6th place bikes at the AMA National Hillclimb.
  24. rocky mountain atv carries works shocks. alf44 here on HQ is a dealer for them. he can probably get you a good price on them. shoot him a PM.
