  1. just curious, but how hot out was it when you were riding? what tranny oil are you using? i have seen the tranny case get so hot that it spews oil out before. were you able to shift your bike at all? it sounds like you need to tear off the clutch cover to check for any real issues.
  2. pilot and gearing are the culprits. these guys got it right.
  3. you can get a pop up notification for PM's. i havent done anything to my hotmail account and can get notifications no problem. i have that shit turned off though. try mail.bansheehq.com and bhq-mail.bansheehq.com
  4. dodge ram cummins turbo diesel.
  5. i dont think ive ever seen a graphics kit for fullbores. might be something you have to have custom made matt.
  6. yes, you will want to upgrade to aftermarket reeds. you cant go wrong with the chariot set up.
  7. just pull them apart and around the bar area. they are tough as shit. i nose dived my bike last year at a hillclimb and all it did was put a couple small cracks in the very front. i figured theyd be trashed but they werent.
  8. everyone who is not getting them go down and read the post in the website issues forum. it should have the fix in there for you guys.
  9. will the bike go into neutral? if not, you more than likely bent a shift fork and the cases will have to be split. i would drain the oil out of the cases and see if there are any parts. chances are if you bent a shift fork, there are some metal pieces that will run out when you drain the oil.
  10. welcome bro glad you finally emailed me about the problem and we got it figured out.
  11. 40 pilot? are you sure thats right? you should be at a 30 pilot MAX and more than likely at 27.5 pilot.
  12. it would probably be more cost effective to just buy another one. say its bad, then youve gotta spend more money to buy one. if you just buy one and it turns out to not be the issue, youll have a spare just in case.
  13. 160 main. 45 pilot. needle in the middle. +7 timing. klotz at 40:1.
  14. i will pay half of your bansheehq tramp stamp.
  15. thats close enough. your tires may have been swelling causing you to gain a couple mph.
  16. Me and my brother just bought ball joints from Tim at Stellar for our Quicksand arms. I couldn't find anything else that would work. All we had to do is re-tap the threads for the ball joints. The threads are pretty close and the ball joints will even go in a couple turns before they stop. So basically, you'd need the ball joints from Tim and the tap for them..
  17. that chart jives with this one as well.. they surely both cant be wrong. http://www.ljsoftware.com/DS/GearSpeedCalculator.html
  18. http://home.earthlink.net/~gellett/banshee.htm about 70mph tops.
  19. Let's keep your wild fantasies about Quaddad at home ok? Thanks.
  20. Dave, are you saying the slingshot doesn't hold power as well as the DD style? This is misinformation. Not all set ups are the same and the clutch arm will not always line up. My bike currently as it sits does not have the arm lining up with the arrow. I have put tons of motors together and got them in the bike and about half of them line up and half of them don't.
  21. this will depend on where you ride. do you ride where its wet or with a lot of water holes? if not, id run clamp on k&n's. if so, id run some sort of intake that utilizes the stock air box.
  22. I wouldn't think the racing deal would be too much of an issue. Everyone needs to just go out there and race against bikes of similar size and set up. I am thinking that we don't even needs lights. Let's just do it old school and throw down the arm and go. Everyone will be watching anyway so if you pull out early, everyone will see it.
