DO NOT get speed confused with power. Changing gearing WILL NOT give you more or less power. Power changes come only with motor mods. Changing the gearing will only increase or decrease your top speed.

Remember, you can't just throw a 4mm crank in there and go ride. It needs to be ported for the extra stroke.

With stock port, a set of pipes and an aftermarket air filter you should be right around 280 main with a 27.5 pilot.
