I am thinking about having another BHQ play day.. Most likely some bean field dragging if I can secure a location. Other than that, I have 45 acres we can ride on with our practice hill and plenty of flat grass covered ground for drag racing. Are there any weekends in November that may or may not work? I'd like to do it on a Saturday. It would have to be the 9, 16 or 23 for me. The earlier the better weather-wise I'm sure.

I think the only thing getting tested on the 10mm are Rockets, CPI and Shearer.

It all started when Cam built our first 18DMs. We were the first to put that big of a motor in a hillclimb bike. We knew we needed an out-frame style pipe, just in an in-frame version. Cam shot me the idea and I went with it. I changed my flange and brought the stinger out to a certain length and it worked. Now all of the ones he builds for hill climbers are set up that way.

Well, apparently we should be sending our stuff overseas because that's where the "foremost 2-stroke" builders are. NOT. That's why EVERY builder over there uses CP products. If they knew more, they'd build their own. What about the UAE crew? They spend tens of thousands of dollars every year on Banshee stuff from where, the USA. The notion that the US doesn't have the best 2-stroke builders is absurd. If you want to go ahead and stick a 4mm crank in 10mm or whatever cases, go ahead. When it runs like fuck you can have registered user help you figure it out.

I've run both the small and big wheel 18mm crank and prefer the heavier big wheel. There is a definite difference in how the bike comes out of the hole between the two. I can't see how an extremely lightweight crank assembly would benefit anything.

I have a Diablo in my Jeep SRT8. It made a noticeable power difference going from stock to the CAI tune on 93 octane. I was skeptical but the reviews for it were pretty good as well as feedback from the SRT8 community.

I think I have a couple sets in the shop. They are all on wheels though. If you'd be interested in buying a set I can look and see what I have. You need 22". I ran 22" on a 4mm unported Serval at the National hillclimb in 2012. I ran 15/41 gearing with a +8 swingarm and it pulled it easily. One of the guys in D23 was the first to run them. Since then most serious climbers started running them.

Have you run Ambush before? The Ohtsus are a better tire in my opinion. They hook harder than the Ambush.

Since you're in the Navy and I pay your salary, I expect to have some of these parts sent to me.. You know, out of the materials I am paying for that you're going to use.

Are you talking about the one on FB? If so, I'd pass on that one. Go with a reputable builder and be done with it. I really liked my 10mm Cub from Redline. I know the 4DM are runners too. I think you'll have more money in the DM than the Cub.
