that part of the frame isnt aluminum. none of the frame is aluminum. to do it right you will need a torch. pull ur plastic and such and heat and bend. its really pretty simple. only problem is that once you heat it up and bend it back you will lose alot of strength in that area. gussetts would help if you have access to a welder. if no torch then some kind of cheater bar slipped over the end of the frame might do it. id say heat is still the best way.

id say someone definetely came to the wrong site talking about how great the 450 is. great for mx, not so great for straight line drag races. especially if they are racing built up banshees. everyone may as well face the fact that there will never be a better quad meant for straight line dragging. banshees will always prevail

when i put my cr500 engine on my banshee frame i got rid of the overflow altogether. the cr500 doesnt have one so i just got rid ofthe bottle and ran the overflow tube down the framerail. now it just leaks off onto the ground.

i bought an ac racing new style bumper from him on monday and already received it today. its in great condition and well worth the money. he has some good deals so if you are needin some parts try hittin him up. i would definetely buy parts from him again. tyler

spend money on: 1. air filter 2. pipes and silencers 3. port work 4. all new suspension these will all help you to go faster. dont let some shit talking 4 stroke riders discourage you. get your banshee built up and whoop their asses. try and drag them on some asphalt or concrete and u will really stom them. have fun with the new banshee. tyler

i am looking for a keihin 39.5 mm carb for my cr500 banshee. i dont have the slightest clue where a good place to find one is. if anyone knows i sure would appreciate it.

i broke my collar bone flipping over the front of mine. if i didnt have a helmet on im pretty sure i wouldnt be here today. i landed right on the side of my head and im pretty sure the helmet broke my collar bone. man that sucked. glad ur ok.

LET IT IDLE!! its not gonna hurt anything, especially if you have it idling pretty high. i dont think id have the idle turned way down on mine tho. ur sposed to let them warm up otherwise your piston will expand faster than ur cylinder(i think i got that the right way) and thats not good.

i run nothing but fast trekkers. they are cheap and go good on hard pack and mud. i run the fronts also and they have a good contact patch. they turn really good and such. id say try a set, only problem is that i dont know if youll find a set anywhere now. i think they are either shutting down the company or they are switching manufacturers. someone might know more about this than me. but id say if u can get ur hands on some then go for it. oh yea get 20 inchers, not 18s unless ur racing motocross.

is it possible he had his gas and oil mixed a little off. maybe hes got too much oil and thats what is causing the oil on the plug?? just a thought.

why dont u just check ur plugs and see what they look like? white is too lean really dark is too rich. u want a tan color.. i would check that, it should tell all. from the sounds of it say its running too lean. but id check to be sure

my brother ran pro x pistons in his banshee when he rebiult it. he would never run them again. i dont know if they wear out fast or what but compression dropped like crazy.

im with screamin demon. there are alot of people with nice banshees but not everyone contributes. id say that we should pick people who have a significant amount of helpful posts.

float is stuck. something is probably keeping that stop (dont know exactly what the hell its called) from goin up. happened to me and i got an inline fuel filter. hasnt happened since.

I have Eyeball Engineering. Built really solid, fit good, come with quality hardware and the powdercoat is really good. I paid $575 for them.

id say your jetting is off. have u checked ur plugs? have u gone to bigger jets or raised the needle since its gotten colder? is it really cold where you are? i would pull the plugs. i would bet your running a little too lean. especially if you havent changed any jetting since its gotten colder, assuming it has gotten colder where you are.

my moped with a 19 hp briggs engine in it will stomp all. i have time slips to prove it runs 45.34 seconds in the quarter mile.
