  1. i run B8EV. never had any problems with them. ive always been told that with a more hopped up engine that a hotter plug will make it run better. just what ive heard, im not an expert or anything.
  2. hey boonman ur truck is weak. only 18 inches? geez thats only enuf to drive over a few cars parked on top of each other. you chould have gone like 4 feet or so. then youd really be tight. haha jk. truck looks good. mine has 3 inches and i think its a monster truck. if i had 18 inches id be gettin in trouble wayy too much.
  3. i have 2 black 4 wheelers. if u do any mud riding at all u have to clean it and wipe it off after every ride. if not it gets kind of a hazy look to it, which will clean up with some effort. they look really good when they are clean tho. id say black if you are going for a dune banshee, i dont really see that many all black banshees that are only for sand. but in the end its really whatever u like.

  5. Here's my truck. 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 with Cummins Turbo Diesel. Chipped, 4" exhaust, intake. 3 inch Tuff Country lift. 33x12.5 on Helo Maxx 8 rims. Pulls anything i want. After owning a diesel I wouldnt bother with any gas truck.

  7. for the hell of it i would check the hose that connects the 2 carbs. if thats off it wont run worth shit. was the gas smell coming from gas leaking out an overflow? with my cr500 banshee sometimes when its really cold its stubborn to start. i have someone pull me so i dont foul a bunch of plugs. you might have some1 pull u if u can, it might be easier than having to kick it over 30 times with no start. possibly something electrical disconnected? just some ideas.

  9. i need a good place to do a top end port job on my cr500 cylinder. i need some prices and names and numbers and such. if anyone has anyone they highly recommend let me know. or if there are any places that are not good i also need to know that. im looking to get something decided here pretty quick. thanks in advance. tyler
  10. my dad has one and it has alot of power. it can pull quite a bit, just not as much as my cummins his looks pretty good too, its got a set of rims on it and such. im not much on chevys but with a lift and some bigger tires i think they look pretty good.
  11. damn ben sounds like a hell of a time. i need to get around and get to some dunes sometime, never been. cant really feel too bad about a crf beating u, they have a pretty decent power to weight ratio. sounds like u whooped some ass tho. hopefully that flu shit doesnt travel up here to missouri, i dont think i want any part of it.
  12. eyeball engineering makes some nice swingarms. you can prolly find a swingarm on ebay or something. or some1 prolly has one they would sell.
  13. my stock banshee will stomp a 400ex with a 440 kit. they are fast and have alot of power. they wont compare to a piped banshee tho. stock one maybe. plus they are a good 4 wheeler for the money. u can spend 5500 for one instead of 7000 for a yfz450. if u arent just all about mx then predator is a good choice. for mx id have a yfz450. also my predator will beat piped raptors.
  14. check to see if something is holding up ur float. i had the same problem with the needle and seat. pulled that out and had something in there. get an inline fuel filter, havent had that problem since.
  15. eyeball engineering. standard length i think i pad about 575. i like them alot and they are adjustable and such.
  16. i just cleaned mine up, primered them and sprayed them with gloss black. they look good and havent had any chipping or anything so far.
  17. Shift riding gear. Thor boots. Never wore Fox cuz around here its really trendy and every homo on the street wears it. i like going up to ppl and asking them what they ride. response most of the time is a dumbfounded look like ride what???
  18. there were alot of ppl sayin that it would vibrate so bad that i wouldnt be able to ride it. well they were wrong. mine doesnt vibrate anymore than a cr500 dirtbike. maybe its the way i put the engine in, who knows. but yea the power is rediculous.
  19. i am the one who did the swap with a cr500 engine. here is my site. http://dirtriders.freewebspace.com/photo3.html its got alot of up close pictures and what not. mine is set up for hillclimbing and trailriding and i wouldnt trade it for anything. i think it could very easily be set up for any type of riding. its a fairly straight forward swap if you have some knowledge of how things work and you are gonna have to have a welder and torch. check the site and if u have any questions let me know. tyler
  20. i heard from a friends dads uncle whos youngest son works for yamaha r and d in japan(hes japanese) that there will be a 3500cc 10 cylinder banshee for the year 2010. im pretty sure hes telling the truth.
  21. oh i have had tons of time on it. its not a drag banshee. its a hillclimber and trailrider. it will climb anything. ive had it some some steep ass hills and its got tons of power. i have drag raced it just messin around and it will go, but the problem is that i jave it geared really low for trails and shit and all it wants to do is spin the tires. on pavement ill take out in 2nd and itll spin all the way thru 2nd and itll spin when i hit third. i think it would be a pretty good drag bike if u have some tires that really hooked up well and changed the gearing around. you have to shift really fast with the cr500 engine. it doesnt wrap out like a banshee engine does. if you dont shift u just lose power and it wont go anymore. if u have any other questions hit me up. tyler
  22. i went to my local metal yard and spent $3.52 on material to build a grab bar for my predator. it looks almost identical to the prm ones. i like mine better because its steel not some cheap ass aluminum thatll bend first time i lay it back.
  23. i run dual rate elkas on my front. i like them alot. i have neve bottomed them out. i mostly trail ride and they soak up everything my trails have to offer and its smoe pretty mean shit. i think i paid right around 800 for them. they are dual rate fully adjustable with piggyback reservoirs. id say try some elkas.
  24. when i got my new boots i hosed them down with water and walked around in them for a while. if you have some time just walk around in them flexing them and such. the only way they will really break in though is by riding in them. tyler
  25. Eyeball Engineering has some nice shit. they run about 575 for the set. no reeming of spindles required. they are really heavy duty with huge ball joints. i like mine alot. tyler
