  1. So why not use it? I don't loose any fluid either,...it recycles itself now...if it overflows out of the rezzie, it goes on the ground. You don't have to have one,...but it's there & ya may as well use it. Just MHO.
  2. Sounds like a good deal. I've actually been to Fort Collins Motorsports several times...I go up to Red Feather Lakes every year, will be making a trip to Walden sometime too.
  3. Ah hell,...nothing anyone shouldn't be able to handle. But here's one you can appologize for!
  4. Sure they can fly....just ask this guy & everyone else there!
  5. No shit! That sucks...that's what you get for messing with raw power though! But be thankful, I'm sure it could have been worse.
  6. Issue resolved. New Hinson clutch baskett was the kicker...now it's off to the dunes for me!
  7. You'll be just fine...you're not going to hurt it, I'd go with an 8 paddle if I were you, but check rockymountain.
  8. Or you can just leave the stock overflow rezzie where it's currently mounted...like on mine, I run a toomey 2:1 also...no problems....I just re-routed my lines so my overflow drops on the ground behind the motor & in front of the swingarm.
  9. 'link told me to piss off.
  10. I'm broke so I can't go in with ya on money...but that's what I'm thinking...
  11. Oh yeah...I'm sure they loved me ripping up the alley at 2AM! I checked mine,...luckily no chunks went through the seal...there were some on the in between the gear & the seal, but nothing pierced through it...probably would have had I tried riding it rather than parking it after I heard the 'pop' when the fingers snapped. Soo.....$280 later, shee's back in commission, Little Sahara here I come!
  12. I wouldn't run pump gas on anything over 160lbs compression. I run 93 oct. with Castor 927 @ 40:1 on 150lbs(about what you'll get by shaving your head .030).
  13. No Shit! Along with everyone else down there...
  14. Any other DOPE, FLAW & ILL NINO fans out there? How about Clapton, Cream, Humble Pie? Some of my all time fav's...but you can't go without Zeppelin.
  15. Taking off early to go get my part & get everything back together...will let ya all know what I tear up in morning. Thanks again...
  16. If I wanted an asshole's opinion I would have farted.
  17. Depends on the setup. I do wireless support for a company & their Computer Names are the 1st part of their Email address & their SSID's point to whatever tower they are connected to. In-house wireless networks,...could be set to whatever ya want like ya said...
  18. Do you ever wonder what life would be like if you'd had enough oxygen at birth?
  19. The Clutch boss doesn't move with the gears...so the wrag trick won't work...used it to remove the clutch bolts though...
  20. Thanks all. One way or another, it's getting fixed TONIGHT. I have pleanty of beer & the fear of riding a slowhundred EX all weekend looming on my shoulders.
  21. It's worth it to everyone that's got theirs cut...I don't get any muddier than before with them off & like being able to see what's going on down there. I've never heard of anyone regretting cutting theirs off.
  22. If shee's running strong, you won't know until you try it. Just MHO... I'm kinda in the same boat,...my '97 is still running stock topend & pistons, whole 9yrds...just have the head milled .030 & some minor port work. Still got 150lbs compression & holding on both cyl's too. If you've taken care of it, obviously you have, you should be fine. I'm gunna go knock on wood now...
  23. Been around a while...I can still remember when I first found the HQ, it was like I'd hit the motherload! Since then, been damn near a daily visitor...this place is like a resort while I'm at work, I look at is as if I'm getting paid to surf the HQ at least 8hrs a day, learn & help out when I can. Gotta dig it.
  24. Right on,...that's probably what I'll do, just need to get a socket big enough to fit my 1/2" impact. Thanks man! Could anyone tell me the size of that nut holding the clutch boss on is?---need to know so I can borrow a socket. $250 for a Hinson, $180 for a stocker.....going to pick up the Hinson this afternoon....yepper, the stealer's taking me from the rear once again. But by god I oughta be pimp'n the banshee this weekend though!
