fixitrod....I checked for leaks, didn't do a vaccum test though, may look into that. I replaced the intake boots because there were some weathered cracks in the bottoms...but after taking them off I saw that the cracks were not all the way through the boot. After installing everything & starting her again I sprayed around the boots with some ether & shee didn't rev at all. So i dunno. I'm almost sure it's electrical...will have to find some time to play with it more & find out. It's nice having a spare banshee for these types of problems...

Best looking oversized tanks I've seen yet. Checked out a shee last weekend at the dunes that had one & the guy said he really likes it, installed easy & hasn't had any leakage problems or anything...

I too have a HD clutch...got a barnett dirt digger, installation was a cakewalk & I too used all 6 springs, not really much harder than before. I'm also running a MSR Raptor clutch perch....it's given me more shit than probably any aftermarket part I've ever installed. Someday I'd like to get a hydrolic clutch...

Man....sounds damn near exactly like my problem...but my problem is only at WOT, idle, half to 3/4 throttle shee revs fine,...just at WOT shee backfires & spits, sputters....See my post about 'Cracked Reeds' in this section of the forum. I'm at a loss,...I'm going to try swapping the coil out, and maybe my stator--but it's damn near brand new still. Before when my stator went out there were no warning signs, no problems. Just wouldn't start after I shut it off after a normal ride until it was replaced. So if you figure yours out, let me know what it was because it could be the exact same problem I'm having...

I know what 'hole' you're talking about. Sounds like you lost the little plastic cover...kinda triangular shaped...give me a sec & I'll find you the microfiche with it & the part number....mine's cracked & leaks a bit.

That's what I did.

For what type of riding? T5's are good dune pipes...haven't tried fatties but I know people seem to like the shit out of them. Seem to be a decent all around pipe....not so much of a top end pipe as the T5's.

I'm not impressed at all with the Z400's...nor so much the raptor. Of the choices...I'd go with the 400ex, will own one someday. May actually trade my '99 shee for one if someone wants to.

They would be replacing the banshee or go to court & explain to a judge how they let a stolen bike get sold through their dealership for profit without a clean title.
