A buddy of mine got a CEET cover a few months back & it looks good and has held up great.

Mine's .030 & at around 300' above sea level I'm right at 150lbs on each side. I'd say you'd be around 150-160 lbs.

How much difference do those stabalizers really make? I don't have any problems with my shee getting hairy, even at high speeds with a -2 arm I still feel in complete control. Any insight????thnx!

Try this....follow those electrical wires that are coming out of your stock perch....there's a plug on the left side of your tank where the wires connect...unplug that connector & try it out. If it works, just tape off those plugs & call her good. GD E-brake anyway.

400ex's are slow stock...but with a few mods they wake up nicely. My roomate has an 02, it was a dog at 1st, he put a full White Bro's exhaust on and I couldn't believe the difference. It was close to going from stock pipes to aftermarket on a banshee - night/day. I like his EX a lot, will probably get one or trade the g/f's shee for one if I find someone willing. They handle great & take some major abuse, and will run forever. + you can find damn nice used EX's for a lot less than you'll get a craptor, kfx(yuck), or predator though. Out of your choices, I'd go with the predator--as long as the seat stay's on you're good to go. But like Barracuda said....if ya can, go with a yfz!

Been there,...still ain't making a whole hell of a lot more than that. I get jewed here by about 30k a year for what all I do...but it's a job & I have insurance & benifits, PTO & Paid holidays. So I can't gripe...hard to find a job with insurance anymore unless you have a bachelors or better. I'll have my own business before too long, be my own boss, make what I want to work for, and work my own hours....then....life will be good.

You might make sure that the slides aren't sticking in the carbs & make sure they're in-sync. A clymers has step by step instructions on doing this... Do you still have the stock e-brake & perch?

Me 2, but I still want one! They're damn nice bikes & with some mods they're killer--especially on the track. At the dunes,...I'll stick with my shee for now. They must have not had their shees tuned right....cause I've yet to have one hand me my ass....dragg'n...no fucking way, especially in the sand. I lined up with a yfz w/HMF exhuast & I imagine it was jetted,..looked pimp as hell & I still took him by at least 2 bike or more the 4 times or so we went down the strip. My shee's not the baddest machine out there,...but shee's a runner & will hold her own. Bring It!
