  1. As long as the HQ doesn't turn into a bluetrax and is in good hands, I'll be happy. Lee's came a long, long way with this site & I'll be damned if it goes to shit. Not only would we lose the BEST banshee resource known to mankind, I'd be bored at work.
  2. Will be featured in the June 15th issue. Gotta get his ass more into the atv realm too! I'm pretty sure this is the rail that'll be in there...his is in pieces right now. He's a contractor...
  3. Right on Lee! I was starting to go into withdrawl.
  4. Better yet...sneek up behind a sweet old lady or a group & scream at the top of your lungs. Watch'm jump & hope you don't cause any to stroke. Back in the day my friends & I would go to WalyWorld & get balls from the toy section & launch them over the isles, listen for the carnage & act like you know nothing. Good times.
  5. I just called them, they'll plug the holes & tape off what needs to be.
  6. I see what you're saying evil...got me thinking, what if I just got some high temp silicon from the auto store,...like the 1500 degree stuff & use it to plug all the bolt holes? I know they only heat like to around 400 degrees to bake the powder on, so surely it'd hold up just fine. Then when it's finished I can just pop that shit out & put the bolts back in. Anyone??
  7. Tape off a pattern, grab your cutting tool of choice & follow the pattern you taped out. Not much to it, just take your time & it'll turn out just fine. I used a fine-toothed blade on a jigsaw for mine, then sanded a couple spots that needed it when finished.
  8. Better than my stealer,...try 8.99 here for 16oz I've always used castor927, never had any problems. Still stock topend & it looks brand new still. (knock on wood) I always mix 40:1.
  9. LMMFAO! That's fuckin great! Someone must have gotten pretty flipp'n bored. At least give the poor thing a paint job.
  10. 1.6 quarts. Some people run 2. I've always ran a little over 1 & 1/2 quarts of Valvoline 10w30 and have never had any issues.
  11. I have Razr's all the way around, 20" on the back. No complaints at all, hook real good. But anything's better than stock pretty much.
  12. Damn okies...
  13. Ya got more balls than me checkster, that's plain crazy racing!
  14. No problem, you may check out http://www.dune-buggy.com and http://www.off-road.com/dunes
  15. Look at this pic,...see those three bolts holding on my case saver? Behind there is a neutral overide switch assy cover. Yours is probably cracked...you can replace it without cracking the case, I'd recommend draining your oil 1st though and there's an o-ring you'll want to keep too for the new assembly. Look in the electrical section of a banshee microfiche & you can get the part number, I don't have it on hand. Not much to it.
  16. Better than stock, but that's about it. Do a search & you'll be busy for awhile...
  17. Dunno what color for sure I want,...I'm thinking the 'sparkle new red'. The sample looks PIMP, but it's also $18/lb or I may go with the sparkle silver, dunno the price though. Just thought I'd get some of your guys' input, the sample pic doesn't look as good as the actual colors...but you get the idea. Whatchya think?
  18. Good point. Oh well, I can get a yfz for the price of a sportster anyway.
  19. Thanks DUNEDEMON, that's what I figured; but if it was something I could do myself to save a few buck I thought I may...but I'd rather get it done right & not take the chance, nor do I want to have to retap the whole thing. Bet that was a headache.
  20. That would be me to the T. That's why I'm looking into the HD sportster, less tempting to do stupid shit on & really all I need is a cruiser to get me back & forth to work and save me some gas money.
  21. Check out http://www.johnsonsbuggies.com Give him a call or Email him with any/all questions you may have or are curious about. He's a great guy, built my 1968stroker that's in my sandrail...as well as 90% of the frames in our group. You tell him what you want & he can build it to your specs. Oh yeah, tell him Brandon King referred you to him.
  22. LMMFAO I was going to ask the same thing. Got any more pics, that's gotta be a classic! Nice bikes guys, I'd f*ck'n kill myself on one though; guaranteed. I'm actually looking into one of the new HD sportsters.
  23. Rightyo'... And... The manual says you need a special tool. If you don't have the tool you can do just that. I just took a flathead & tapped it a bit to break that keeper nut or whatever loose, then backed it out by hand...pulled all the bearings out in order & zip tied them in order so I know what order to put them back in. My question is....what to use to plug all the bolt holes in the frame so they don't get coated? I've heard to use cork(but you'd think it would melt) or some type of plugs? Anyone have any insight? I may just put the original bolts back in the frame & order a new OEM bolt kit, anyone know where & prices on that sort of deal?
  24. DAMN! I bet she really hooks up, I put on a -2 arm & was like "WHOH!", but I bet it's the bombbanshizzleofthenizzle on the track though.
  25. I hear that!
