  1. The JL -1 swingarm showed up! Just waiting for carrier now.
  2. Went riding today and for the most part it ran great! However I did have a plug rattle loose. May be paranoid but I’ll try jumping up the mains a size or two. Plug chops looked perfect in the same temps but better safe than sorry.
  3. I’ve also heard about the slave cylinder issue. How do you fix it?
  4. Great question! I ordered it off of amazon. The part # was 0120522-10. The one I received was different then the one pictured on amazon. Color is the obvious difference but not sure about size difference. Here is the link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000MQA6G0/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  5. Yea I was thinking the same for pilot. Bumped it up to achieve idle at 5k when syncing carbs. May go up one more size to be sure. I’ve yet to plug chop the #40 pilots. The jetting specs I got straight from CT Racing. Same with the Toomey needle recommendation. I’ll see how that goes though when I plug chop the mid range. Worst case I have JJH needles laying around. He recommended starting at #35 pilots but plug chops came back pure white which is why I bumped up to #40 pilots. The plug chop I did on the #140 mains looked perfect at least haha. Getting there! Warmer weather will definitely richen it up. It’s been in the 50’s here lately.
  6. I bought the Lonestar +2 front brake lines when I got the A-Arms (before stem). No issues with them reaching which was nice haha
  7. Nice! I wish I found Fireball sooner. They make some sharp looking stuff for great prices. Lol I know the feeling! Now that I'm nearly finished I put together a parts list. Wish I didn't add it all up hahaha Hoping to finally ride it at a track this weekend! More pics soon!
  8. Thanks Tony! I have a -1 JL swingarm landing soon for it with that same candy blue finish. More pics soon! My chariot throttle does rattle around a bit. First thing I did was swap out the shorter lever for the longer one. After messing with it 100 different ways I believe that slack is intentional. Any way I tried to tighten it up would interfere with its operation. It would get stuck and stuff. I'll never go back to OE now though! lol. My throttle is crazy easy now with the 28mm PWK's and the polished up springs. That plus the leverage with the longer lever is the way to go!
  9. I forgot to post these pics of the +2 (length) +1 (forward) Lonestar Steering Stem installed. It clears the IMS 5.6 Gallon tank perfectly! I was able to eliminate the handlebar risers I was using. Now I just need to finish cleaning up the handlebars.
  10. Got the new Pingel dual outlet valve installed! Used MotionPro 1/4" fuel lines and they fit perfect. I also used 1/4" fuel rail clamps on the ends to secure them in place. I am still waiting on my JL engineering -1 Swingarm and the TM Designworks chain guide kit. Other than that though I think it's done! Here is the high-altitude jetting thread for anyone interested: https://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?/topic/189915-upgrading-to-28mm-pwks-from-stock-carbs/&page=2 Just need warm weather now!
  11. I was able to fix the sluggish off-idle with the air screw! They are both all the way screwed in right now and it's idling/revving perfect. I'll have to tweak these again though when I install these new metal idle screws. The plastic ones that come on the PWKs are bullshit! Next up is one last round of plug chops on the Pilot, Mid-Range, and Main circuits. I'll perform these plug chops and post pics when the weather gets warmer. It will likely be a little rich when it warms up since I've been jetting in 50-60 degree temps.
  12. Update! I finally have my jetting dialed in on these 28mm PWK's (for the colder weather at least). Due to the general lack of high altitude specific jetting information on the web I have posted my engine / jetting information below. Hope it can be helpful! Altitude: 5,277 Feet Temperature: 50 Degrees ENGINE INFORMATION: Keihin 28mm PWK Carbs #40 Pilot Jets #140 Main Jets Toomey Needles #2 Needle position from bottom Idle Screw almost 100% in VForce 4 Reed Cages Chariot Billet Intakes CFM Aluminum Air Box (No Lid) K&N Filters & Pre-Chargers Hot Rods 4mil Crank Vertex 66mm Blaster Pistons (#22569) Vito's Hemi Head V Pro Design 19cc Domes (Cut for 4mil crank) NGK BR8ES Spark Plugs I still need to smooth out the off-idle a bit with air screw adjustments. Other than that though the WOT plug chop looked great! I still need to perform another midrange plug chop though just to be sure it's all dialed in. Everything seems to be running great! *EVERY MOTOR IS DIFFERENT. START RICH AND WORK DOWNWARD*
  13. Also have a -1" JL Engineering MX swingarm on the way! I'll post pics when it lands.
  14. For sure! I have been looking at the dual pingel ones. $99 seems steep but oh well! It would be a nice addition to that tank.
  15. Yea with having the ported jugs and stroker crank I ordered one.
  16. For sure! I have been looking at the dual pingel ones. $99 seems steep but oh well! It would be a nice addition to that tank.
  17. For sure! I have been looking at the dual pingel ones. $99 seems steep but oh well! It would be a nice addition to that tank.
  18. I know I know lol. I did get pod filters with these carbs. The issue is the current track conditions. I’m sure I’ll swap between the airbox and pods as needed.
  19. I fitted the new 28mm PWK’s! I had to trim about 3/4 of an inch off of each tube where the boots mount up for everything to fit. I believe the chariot manifold / spacers were to blame. Jets land tomorrow!
  20. CFM Airbox landed today! Carbs should deliver tomorrow
  21. I found some 28mm PWK's for cheap! Updates soon
  22. Hah no worries! Better rich than lean lol
