  1. Air leak. New pistins, bore and likely crank. Make sure he does a leak down test after the next rebuild. Better yet take it to someone that knows what they're doing. Sent from my HTC U11 plus using Tapatalk
  2. Dont spend another dollar on those shocks, buy some aftermarket banshee shocks instead. Yes you can valve shocks yourself but you shouldnt. There is a lot involved to know how to valve them correctly and youll also need a few hundred dollars in speciality tools to open them up, do the valve work, and put them back together functionally. 3. Yes, if that digital stator is putting out 12VAC nominal voltage the JL kit from JDS will convert it to DC. Sent from my HTC U11 plus using Tapatalk
  4. I wouldn't buy aftermarket brakes. Yfz are a good upgrade. I have a very nice oem banshee setup if you're interested. EBay radiators are fine, I've run many. Get oem plastics from Rocky Mountain ATV. Sent from my HTC U11 plus using Tapatalk
  5. Serval and cub are the most popular with the only difference being port timing. Serval more bottom end, cub more top. Cheetah cylinders use powervalves and bigger intakes. Not as popular due to politics/cost but faster when setup properly. Very often cubs are referred to incorrectly as cheetahs. All this applies to super with the difference being bore size. DM and DMX are the newest and have large intakes and aggressive port layout. Very popular with the current generation of fast drag guys. Sent from my HTC U11 plus using Tapatalk
  6. They have the same problem of having to kick with your foot sideways. Otherwise they have good reviews.
  7. I wouldnt put them on my quad for free. I know personally a hand full of people who ran them for a short period and switched to something else. A lot of guys run them and dont complain though so you do what you think is best. Sent from my HTC U11 plus using Tapatalk
  8. Because they are flimsy junk lol. They dont connect to the frame in the rear, I wouldnt feel comfortable standing on them like I do my heel guards or AC bars. They also dont have a recess to allow for "natural" kicking as well as stick so far back you can run a 22" paddle on stock swingarm. Id take a used set of AC propeg over a new set of Alba everyday, even if I had to pay twice the cost. Sent from my HTC U11 plus using Tapatalk
  9. Ive got a couple pair of freshly serviced Works shocks Ill be selling for $320/ea. Sent from my HTC U11 plus using Tapatalk
  10. Air leak. Complete rebuild and leak test before you run it.
  11. Buy banshee parts to put on your banshee. YFZ shocks are a waste of money. Sent from my HTC U11 plus using Tapatalk
  12. Use the studs with nuts on the lower cases, same with cylinder to cases and cylinder to head. +4 timing is safe for most applications. I don't use trail tech but wrapping the rpm wire securely around the coil wire has always worked fine for me.
  13. You have another problem if youre getting 4 tanks out of a bore. I wouldnt run Athena. Driveline cylinders are a great value.
  14. 450 engine mounts through the swingarm, not a good option to put on a banshee. I prefer Fireball, Lonestar and Stellar are also good options.
  15. I dont like the replacement bushings that FAST sells, too tight and steel. For that reason I go with complete gears. If you find a bushing youre happy with go for it. The clip can be found anywhere you buy oem parts. Its just a couple bucks so Ive never bothered to match it up at a parts store.
  16. Replace them as a set. There shouldnt be any play in the idler gear. One of the most overlooked maintance items, replace it and the clip that holds it on. Sent from my HTC U11 plus using Tapatalk
  17. The listing title is correct but the picture is wrong. Buying parts off Amazon and eBay is very risky if you dont know what youre doing as there are more knock-offs than real these days. Id be willing to bet West Coast ATV has the real deal for cheaper than the Amazon link you posted.
  18. Kawa110 had a nice one for sale, might want to message him.
  19. Most important thing anyone can tell you, never ever, ever, under any circumstances, buy anything from that seller. He sells cheap junk and uses bait and switch marketing. Dont believe me, google "Rattle Can Ray", thats who youre buying from. He owns Vitos which is also cheap junk. Get a hold of West Coast ATV Parts. They sell quality new and used parts at great prices.
  20. You shouldnt be paying more than $150 for a nice pair of stock carbs. Keihin 28mm PWK are one of the best upgrades imo. If you go that way make sure theyre genuine.
  21. If you ran your banshee 6 miles without coolant its likely the motor is toast. Id at a minimum take the top end off and inspect. Sent from my HTC U11 plus using Tapatalk
  22. These are sold. Stock banshee shocks are 14.5". Almost every aftermarket standard travel banshee shock Im aware of is 14.75".
  23. Ive got a pair of Works I just posted. Sent from my HTC U11 plus using Tapatalk
