  6. You switched wires, but did you switch or put new plugs in? Coil could be getting weak, stator could be getting weak, flywheel could be shot. Cdi might be going , could have a bad ground. Check your reeds on that cylinder, do a leak down on that cylinder. Have you pulled the carb off and cleaned the jets?
  7. Im a bit lost here. Is it oil/gas left over from when you took the jugs off? Did you cover the crank case while waiting for jugs to get bored? Id fill with gas, slosh it around dump it. Then pour some genaric ass oil in the crank case. Spin the crank to lube the bearings and reassemble. If thats too hard. Do what 375 says

  11. Should be marking on the domes. 24,23,22 ectect. Those numbers are the cc size of the dome. Will help figure out what your compression should be
  12. Did you have the motor built? It is possible some one put smaller domes in to run lower compression

  14. I found that the fattys have some of the most clearance. Shim the pipe hangers
  15. In theory yes.. but i wouldnt. That b12 is nasty stuff, if left in the fuel too long it can eat at the tank ,fuel lines ect. Plus you would have to mix it in at a pretty precise ratio, 2strokes need proper jetting. Who knows how that stuff will affect the fuel, and could cause a lean condition. If it were a stock motor and jetting you would prob be safe. Also that stuff just wont replace a carb cleaning. If that machine has been sitting a while there will be stuff in places that will require hand cleaning. Sounds like you need to dive in and start learning how to work on these machines. Only one way your going to learn and thats by doing it.. if your not willing or too affraid, you honestly might better just sell it

  17. This ^ copper coat is for working on old ass tractors ,trucks, lawn mowers ect. Just like idian head shelack
  18. Yamabond 4. Sealant on reed gaskets, clutch and water pump gaskets. Unless there are blemishes on the cases where the crank and tranny seals go i wouldnt put sealant on those, just a high temp grease

  20. Elka was a better deal, more known than the new worx's company. Also was easyer as i bought a long travel a arm kit and shocks all together
