  1. I don't mind the drive by myself, but I've gotten to silver lake and the badlands before and had to ride by myself, lol. It sucks. A couple times, I just kinda threw myself into a group, and hope they were cool, and they usually are. I'm going to watch the weather. It's starting to not look too good .
  2. That's exactly what I want to know, too. I'm not going if I'm going to have to ride by myself. If we get some definate people going, then I'm in!
  3. I don't think I'd do it as a primary job, unless you can get some steady work, like a company that'll pay you to powdercoat X number of parts per week, every week, so you have a steady income. Bikes and quads are'nt going to keep you busy enough to make it worthwhile.
  4. All my friends that have raptors, always have have some problem with it, and they were the ones giving me shit for getting a banshee, because of how unreliable they are. pffft, I'm the only one who can go riding at any given time, because my quad RUNS. No problems yet...knock on wood Loganskinner, it sounds to me, like something was too tight, and as the engine warmed, got even tighter, or something was floating around loose in there and got caught up in the timing chain or something.
  5. You have to figure in how many trucks that are parked, side by side, in docks, truck stops, etc, at any given time. I bet they could wrap around the earth 5 times. I wonder if they were talking about trucks with trailers, or trucks and trailers, because there's a hell of a lot more trailers, than there is trucks to pull them. Your mathmatics gives me a headache , you got me thinking too hard, I'm going to bed.
  6. I like the looks of those, but man, they look heavy to me for some reason. I've only seen them in pictures, though.
  7. Thanks white trash shee rider. I think I'm gonna go! I just hope my new paddles come in by then. I don't think geckos are going to cut it.
  8. I don't blame you one bit! I don't think we're going, either. Not worth the 3 hour drive, to ride in slop.
  9. Don't worry Rod, I think it's supposed to rain all weekend, anyway. I think I'm just going to watch the weather and decide in the morning if I'm going or not.
  10. When is it? Anybody know?
  11. My girlfriend and I go every year. Even though I can't really afford it this year, she won't take no for an answer, so I'll be there at least sunday, maybe saturday, too.
  12. I want to check that out! sounds like fun.
  13. I had a cursed RM 125. The last 3 serial numbers were 666. After I bought it, I found out the original owner broke both his legs on it, the guy after him broke his arm, the guy I bought it from had the throttle stick wide open and ran him into a tree. It had a blown crank when I got it, and sold it before I got it running. The guy who bought it from me fixed it, and on the first ride, siezed it up while on a wheelie, throwing him over the bars.
  14. My girlfriend loves to ride quads. Here's a few pics. well, one. the other 2 were too big.
  15. There's some space under the stairs . j/k We're planning on building 2 more rooms by the end of summer. DUNEDEMON, get your signing hand ready, you'll be signing your name a couple hundred times, lol. Houses around here are very expensive, too. My new house is 30 miles from where I'm currently living, but if it was closer, it would cost 3 times as much. My friend just bought a brand new house on 1/4 acre, 3 rooms for $400,000! and that's cheap around here. I can just imagine what southern california is like.
  16. man who fart in church, sit in his own pew. man who travel through airport turnstile sideways, is going to bangcock
  17. Sorry to hear about that, man. Press charges to the fullest extent, and good luck!
  18. Broke, it's got a high efficiency furnace, but the fireplace will heat the whole house if I need it to. I'm definately buiding a track
  19. lol good point. I hate thieves. My boss makes me leave my doors on my truck unlocked, because if they're going to steal something, at least we won't have to replace a window, too.
  20. Nugshee, dirt won't be a problem. I drive an 18 wheel dump truck for a living Fireman, I have all the paperwork for the fireplace, so I'll look into it and scan it for you, if there's any info on it. Holyman, It's in DeKalb county, one block north of lasalle county. The drive won't be toooo bad. It's about 40 minutes, although I'm currantly only driving 3 minutes, so it's going to take some getting used to. Once my boss builds the new shop, I'll only have 25-30 minute drive. I'll get a pic of the stairs tomorrow. The guy builds custom stairs for a living. I'm not sure where he got the spidles, but I think Home depot has the same ones for $40/foot.
  21. Thanks guys. yeah, there is a little balcony off the back of the loft. holyman, it's on the outside of Leland, which is between DeKalb and Ottawa or between Somanauk and Mendota. The guy who sold it to me said that the farmer that owns the land around it, offered to sell him 3 more acres directly behind it at a damn good price. Maybe I'll get the same offer.
  22. Me, too. I can visualize so many ideas in my head that would be perfect, but I have no way to show them to anyone.
  23. lol, we do have mountains in illinois, but they're made of garbage.
  24. I'm definately building a shop! 100x50 would perfect . Yeah, the loft is all it has for a bedroom right now, but I'm building an addition with 2 rooms and another bathroom.
