  1. We can get 110 for 2.99 out of the pump here. Hell, 93 is 2.03 a gallon. Just run it straight.
  2. I hate to say it but that was his choice from the beginning. That's also what has made this site what it is today. Trust me. If you start the money game people will go elsewhere. One of them may include myself.
  3. That looks like a 4 corner seizer to me. I think it's caused by not letting the motor warm up properly. But, the tops of those pistons sure look like they got hotter then hell.
  4. This site would never have been as informative as it is if it were a pay site. You will weed out more good than bad I'm afraid. You will get a very low number of new members and as people get new quads and get out of the sport this site will be nothing. Edit Leave the site as is. Add some paid advertised banners. Hell, start a parts store..that's what I would do if I bought this site. But, don't start charging individuals.

  6. Try it out first. You may not be as unhappy as they think. Just sounds rich though but I know nothing about the cv systems. I would at least try it since you have it. You can take the head to a auto machine shop and tell them to take .030 inches off. $30 and a gasket you're all set.
  7. What kind of silencer. Someone here may have what you are looking for.
  8. try the part number I gave you and see what they come up with
  9. I downloaded the motion pro catalog. It looks like you'll need cable number 01-0813. I hope this helps. Maybe your dealer can order that number from motion pro.. which they should. Then you can save the c.o.d. and shipping money.
  10. I agree, if your having trouble... fix the problem first. Here is the chain tensioners they do sell though. http://www.jlatvproducts.com/Merchant2/mer...oduct_Code=CT99
  11. I just realized I said a few months...lol. Yes, it sucked. Those guys had it rough. Didn't have time to get straight before they were off again. That's the unit my brother was in. All his soldiers got screwed. Funny thing is, they'd do it again !!!!!!!
  12. We all have inline filters... there are two in the tank. One for the reserve and one for the normal setting. Who knows the quality of them though. I pulled the petcock and cut those off. I then put a new inline filter in line with the fuel line so I can see what's being stopped.
  13. Did you get a part number from toomey. You could call james lucky at 1-800-233-2637.
  14. And, keep in mind, the 101st was only back from afghanistan for a few months. My brother was in 101st in afghanistan for round 1.
  15. toomey 19.99
  16. www.toomey.com It is a standard cable that is made for aftermarket carbs for the banshee. If they can get you a cable that is for aftermarket carbs, you'll be fine.
  17. Is a surface rough when it's covered in slippery ass two stroke oil. I'm not sure I buy the whole "rough surface causing molecules to atomize" either. Oh, and I don't believe the "vortex" would work either. Every time the slide moves you'd screw it up. I didn't read all of this so If I repeated... sorry.
  18. That's exactly how my pipes were running Jim. They just friggin pulled and pulled. I didn't know that cpi's cam on earlier though...hmmmmm
  19. My guess is it's rich on the main. Since it works good on the street and not the dirt. You need more fuel for the resistance on the street. In the dirt you are spinning the tires. What is your jetting at now.
  20. Usually just the pilot. Have your wife hold the gas in when trying to start it warm. Should fire right up.
  21. I think James Lucky might. If your chain is that bad though you might just adjust it or replace it if need be. Better to replace the chain than crack your case or leg.
  22. I don't think to many people at dumont would have called my fatty's dogs. I'm running a grand river racing mx/rec ported stroker. I was running 15/41 but my tires were big as hell. I ordered 21's and I bet they were in the range of 23 to 25 inches. I need to learn my starts but I pulled past most people up the hill. I'll keep my fatty's. Doesn't mean they'll work the same on jims motor though. I really believe you'll gain your power from jetting. You do need to have the air intakes "system" as open as your riding style will allow. I did notice you said it revs so quick now that you have to shift all the time. If you are letting it rev out like you need to then you will need taller gearing to fix that.
  23. LMMFAO... It doesn't matter what spark plug wire is on either cylinder. They fire at the same time. I know the pistons aren't at the top at he same time but they do spark at the same time. It's one coil. Now it is a good idea to look into the radiator.
  24. I got to ride one a little yesterday too. I have to say.... I was impressed. That thing was a blast. Nothing like a banshee on top but man... hit the gas and ride a wheely. Come out of a corner ... just hit the gas. I'm so used to using the clutch, I had to adjust my riding style. Good luck. If you ride trails and slow stuff the 450 is very nice. If your about winning drag races with your buddies, keep the banshe... or just don't race when banshees are out there...lol. Have fun.
