  1. Sold the Shee before I was ever able to get any good outa those graphics. Look for them on e-bay Item number: 2483421966
  2. Just put the Motion Pro twist throttle on my wifes' new Z400 and I don't like it one bit....O.K. maybe for drag racing, but forget the whoops, or for riding trails, too damn short of a throw from idle to WFO...just a Quarter turn. It's gotta go. Anybody want it? $25 plus shipping
  3. I can take a rib'n, I would not expect anything less...Now, I'm still a Banshee fan, I would never think I could build the 450 to outperform one....sheeeesh! But I still have my bro-in-law and his boys' Banshee to run around with, and if I need my bike spanked in a drag race, Dustins' is the one to go up against. Plus my son is just 12. He's training on a Blaster....next up for him? The Banhsee of course!
  4. I spent all of last week at the dunes in Winchester Bay last week...had a blast with some friends and family. I've ripped around for 3 years now on my Banshee and love it. My nephews is a screamer....however, his friend showed up with a yfz450. I had a chance to ride around on it, jump it a little, drag race a bit..... It RIPS! I had so damn much fun it...I'm still sport'n wood. So I'm heading to the Salem fairgrounds this weekend. There is an RV?ATV show and I plan on buying a 450 for myself. I have another week off in July so I'll give you a review after a week of pounding. As for my Banshee... Looks like it will be looking for another home. I'm going to detail it out next week and see what happens on E-Bay. Gotta run
  5. I just bought a half gallon of the Klotz ST. Used the Castro for years but it sucks in the cold weather. The Klotz has a red hue so I don't have to worry about dumping mixed gas into my wifes' bike, or tweak'n my 4 stroke lawnmower. The name is unsettling though, sounds like a sexually transmitted disease of the nasal passage!
  6. Por....(sniff) I'll never get there man. I can barely read, let alone spell or type for that matter. I'm just glad to be a part of the team. If you need me....this is where I'll be Congratulation Dude
  7. Naw, I mean OOOOLD, like in the last of the late...uhhh, over the peak on the down hill side of...umm. Well, it's just before you can qualify for social security. Right before 64 but just after 45...Oh, I remember! I'm 46! Shit....this short term memory thing is like....it'ssss like...What the hell was I talking about? I need a nap
  8. Well.... I just don't know much about preload and shock adjustment, that's the beauty of the Works custom built for you and your riding style....takes the guess work out of it. Hopefully someone else can step in and offer some sound advice for you. I'm just an old man for Crists' sake....I'm still trying to decide which brand of adult diaper provides the best absorption AND doesn't show through my riding pants....How's THAT for indecision?
  9. There are other brands out there..Elka, Axis,PEP,TCS, but who can trust a company that just goes by 3 letters??? Seriously though, unless you do extreme riding, racing have a better than average relation with your wife AND recreational fund, the Works are a smart choice. Just remember, what ever you do to your Banshee to enhance the performance, you are expected to do for her bike as well.... If you need me, this is where I'll be
  10. Ranshee, I contacted Works shocks and gave them that same information for my Banshee. 'Sept I'm a delicate 200 lbs I told them I ride mostly dunes, do a considerable amount of jumping, MX a bit, and the whoops are beating my arms up. They mailed me some triple rate non-rezzie shocks that are awsome. Now you can spend an ungodly (is that a word?) amount on performance shocks. These come in at around $400 for a pair (front) and if your not satisfied with the custom valving....they revalve for free. ....soooo, bring on the naysayers By the way, I'm off to Florence Monday for a week of abuse on those very shocks. Bought an enclosed trailer to hide all my toys in at night while I snooze. It's black....it's shiny...but mostly, it's shiny!
  11. I was racing against a Suzuki 400 up in Richland WA and as I blew out in front of him, I launched a rock into his front right shock, big enough to collapse the tube. So a ran out and bought chest protectors for the whole family...sheeesh! That would have hurt like hell to take one like that in the chest
  12. O.K. It's been 3 days now, I withdraw my offer
  13. If you decide to sell them seperately, I'll give you $100 for the silencers, that includes shipping. $$
  14. My family and I are going to be hitting Florence south jetty and Spinreel the week of April 5.....OH YEH, the WHOLE week. We've been riding for quite some time now, (old as dust as the name implies). We hail from just East of Vancouver.
  15. I got scammed in just the same manner about 2 years ago. We contacted local jurisdiction as well as the FTC, and the FBI. Both had us fill out a bunch of crap that netted us......nothing. It was a $2500 lesson for us as well..Bastards!
