  1. Could be a bad stator or electrical.
  2. That's part of the bueaty of a noss head. No head gaskets. If you need to pull the head for some reason you don't need to buy a $20 gasket.
  3. Fixit, thanks man, I'll have to take a look at that. I hope it helps. That's why I decided to post a fix rather than a break.
  4. My fatties always liked a lean pilot to needle circuit too. I never ran a 20 though. Just the stock 25 with the needle one lean from stock. Maybe it has something to do with the lid. Do you have the snorkel on too. If so, can that at least.
  5. The best way is to get your bank account confirmed. Then you can transfer it into the bank. Or, just use the money to buy things from people that take paypal. It will come from your paypal account first.
  6. That's exactly what my problem was. I couldn't get out of second under power. If I was putting along it was fine. Must have something to do with the way the torque is on the shift star.
  7. No problem. They do look like T4's
  8. I've been having shifting trouble since the end of roostfest. I took the clutch off last night and noticed my shift for looked adjusted properly as it had before. After diggin into it I found that the "cam" that looks like a flat head screw was loose. There is a nut on the bottom that is suppose to tighten to hold that cam in place. Mine was loose so everytime I tried to actually shift It cam unadjusted.
  9. I got this from the toomey faq t3 T4 T5
  10. That gasket stuff should be fine as long as you didn't miss a spot. You'll need to do a leak down test to detect an air leak. As far as an electrical problem goes your best bet is to get a clymers manual. It will step you through checking just about everything but the cdi.
  11. I have a rand sway bar if you are interested. Pm me for price.
  12. Now wait a minute. The only time you'll loose anything is when you let go of the gas. Think about it. If a flywheel is heavy it's going to slow down the motor when you hit the gas. If it's lighter it'll respond faster to the throttle being hit. Now, if a flywheel is heavy it will "push" you a little more when you let go of the gas. If it's lighter, it will rev down faster.... This is the only loss. Most people will add weight to gain tractability (Slow the motor down when you first hit the throttle so the tires don't break free). The motor produces the torque... not the flywheel. If anything, you'll add torque when on the gas and loose some when you let off the gas. Who needs torque when you let go of the gas. Now, on the banshee, it takes time for the motor to pickup then it's off. We banshee owners want it to kick in sooner most of the time. This is a way to do it. A lot of 4 stroke owners like to add weight so it slows the motor down when they first hit the gas. After that, the flywheels mostly out of the picture anyway. This is how I see it anyway
  13. It will also "unbalance" the piston, weaken it, make it untrue. Not worth the risk if you ask me either.
  14. Well, if you've already modded the airbox and jetting accordingly you could see if you like a 13tooth front sprocket. Boost bottles are a waste of money as far as perfromance goes.
  15. I've seen where a pilot jet got clogged and had that same problem. Has the tiniest little piece of junk in it.
  16. Tractibility of most 4strokes is tough to beat on a motocross track. Torque is there when you need it. Come out of a coner, pin it and the r's to jump so fast the traciton breaks. You want traction out of a corner into a double. They don't wear you out as fast because they are easier to ride. Frame is a better geometry for good suspension. Last but not least; the epa is going to make sure that 4 strokes are what's ran because of emissions. As far a dominating...if it were that simple, it'd be the way it is. In the wide open dunes and tt, I can see a banshee dominating. In a 20lap moto, the shee would kick your ass...lmao.
  17. It would probably be easier to understand if you seperate your thoughts with a period.
  18. That's the racing Jeremy McGrath is doing now.
  19. This is about all I could find for the dremel http://www.dremel.com/html/home_fr.html
  20. Boonman, my flywheel showed up today and it looks great. To bad I have to cover it up lol.
  21. Should have it soon. He sent it back within a day. I have the shee torn apart right now. May be another week or so.
  22. I had the same issue. I went to the auto parts store and bought regular hose clamps. Worked good for me.
  23. Here's an article I found for you. http://www.atvrideronline.com/tech/freehp/
  24. That about sums it up... lol
