  1. http://www.dunedevilinc.com/index.php?acti...epart&partid=27 The guy who makes them goes by cottoneyejoe here on bhq. Service and quality are top notch.
  2. A guy who bought my 18ft chris craft boat had a hitch on a nissan maxima. It pulled fine too.. I couldn't believe it.
  3. I believe it's .003 per inch of bore. That would be about .012 for the banshee. The intructions should be with the pistons if they are wisecos.
  4. Hmmmm, I've heard the story behind the pipes too!!!!!!!
  5. Just make sure you have a good welded crank. tz bearings help too.
  6. Sometimes we can get to excited shifting and jam on them to hard. lol. Glad to see the switch worked for you.
  7. let it pull let it pull let it pull !!!!!!!!! Gotta love the pull of a stroker!!
  8. Change for me.. I should be there on the 15th.
  9. I think you'd be okay. The reason, I believe, they make it to small for a 17 is so if you run a 15 the chain won't be able to bind up in there. The idea is to keep the chain rolling through and not to bind. EDIT Bind meaning buch up and crack the case.
  10. Oh yeah, forgot the reeds
  11. Are you interested in 22" rears?
  12. pt mids a good port job 28mm to 30mm carbs -2 swingarm as much compression as you can afford fuel wise steering damper for the rocks and ruts shocks for the rough stuff (if you can go fast because it's rough it's not worth having the power) A good proflow foam filter setup A good set of tires a good clutch if yours is worn or stiffer springs some good steel front brake lines to help the stock brake fade. If you don't think you have fade try to stop with just the fronts real fast in the street... advace the timing 4 to 5 degrees stroker crank and port and 34 to 35mm carbs if you can afford it but not needed for a woods trail bike Lightened flywheel ( great acceleration and you can run right into a corner without the motor pushing you through) A good chain slider while you have it apart That's all I can think of right now
  13. Parking brake switch in the handle bar by the clutch. Mess with it and see what happens.
  14. They are just plastic. I imagine you could cut one. It wouldn't save much with a smaller sprocket after you mod it though.
  15. I agree. I have had that same chain for two ... maybe three years. Hasn't stretched much and I run a stroker and weigh over 200.
  16. 24:1 and 6hrs on those plugs.
  17. Sent you a pm broke.
  18. Here's a scam to look out for. When you use your card at a store, people are taking pictures of them with these camera phones over peoples shoulders and when you hand them to the waitresses !! My cards all say "see id" on the back. They might check once in 10 times. It's nuts. Good thing you caught it when you did stan.
  19. If the forks get put in toward the motor the pin that holds the fork can get hung up on the shift star. Man that sounds like jiberish. I bent mine in on accident once while working on it and it was the same way. That, and the shift fork adjuster being loose and not letting the forks grab the star correctly. That's all I can think of as far as external tranny parts.
  20. What kind of oil are you using?
  21. What he said. Also, will low gears like that and 18" tires, you shift to much and you are barely in the power. It's amazing what that taller gearing will get you that blue was talking about. If you need a little more power to push the taller gearing, get some compression. For mx 180 - 210 psi isn't uncommon. Just need to run good race fuel if you go that high. I agree 100% you need taller gearing.
  22. You will gain a lot of stability with a wider axle. It's cheaper then gettings a-arms and shocks for now. As far as steering goes it'll be about the same. Maybe a touch wider, but probably nothing you'll notice.
  23. I found a site calle mr.glamis that has great info on it. 24. You know, I've done searches on the 2 stroke rules from the epa and they are only digging into the 2 stroke boat motors for 2006. I believe since California isn't going to allow new 2 strokes the banshee may not have a future. I don't know. I've found lots of charts on the epa web site. Who knows.
