Ok thanks. I am leaving to go up north in a few hours and there is a nice dirt road for me to plug chop. Gotta bring the die grinder to chop the threads. I looked at the plugs yesterday and its now safe to say my pilot is good and the airscrew is set.

Yes I have and it idles good. I have the needle at 1st position and the richness is gone. Does that mean I will have to go down to a 270 main?

Ok so I switched my needle to the 2nd position and it took away a LOT of the sputter. It still has a slight whiff of it so should I go to 1st position?

If you keep the throttle pinned while its bogging will the bike shut down?

Come to think of it it sounds more like a sputter and it did it longer than middle position

They are actually the same length. The Shindy needle is on the right, stock is the left. I will try 4th position to see if I feel a difference.

I found my good stock needle so I will compare them tomorrow.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking too. Ok well I will try richening the needle. I was just desperate so I got those. Guess I should get some stocker needles soon. Also I just want to make sure my main is ok. I've done plenty of idle to WOT revvs and there are no problems except that needle. Main is currently a 280.

Yeah that's what I was trying to say. Would it running lean there make it hesitate getting into the high RPM's?

I won't be able to drop the clip until tomorrow. I'm bowling tonight. I will let you know in the morning how it acts to it. I think that these Shindy needles 1/4 of an inch longer or so than stock.

Yeah lol sorry Windy for busting your balls all this time. Time for me to listen to you guys. So there's only really one (or two) things that are still problems. I took off and nailed it and about half throttle it kinda hesitated then the main kicked in and it hauled ass. So, could it be the main or the slide needle. The original needles were bent so I bought Shindy kits and used the needles in them. It did this before the new needles too. The needles are Y151 if I recall correctly.

Tricked I put the 27.5's back in, Shee loves it! Started on first kick! Air screws are 1.5 turns out and it idles perfect!

That's the problem, the old owner was family. It was my cousin's. My dad said he does have a good record of fucking things up so he's not surprised about the slides being backwards.

Ok I will try the 27.5's a little later when I can. Also compared to the dunes... Much much better

Yep. I talked to him about the headlights too. He put different connectors for the headlight ground and I asked him about it and he said it's "stock wiring". Bullshit.
