  1. Sorry i forgot to update. It's is sold and shipped.
  2. Looks good to me. i had it happen once, that it lost a bit. took it all off and sprayed some silicone/oil on all the joints to get a good seal and then it didn't drop any.
  3. Yeah CP cub cylinder. Here is picture of said good piston. It looks almost new. That's why I thought maybe rings and go for it.
  4. Picked up a bike that squeaked the left piston. Spark plug came loose, due to, Trying to determine why now) rider error or detonation. Right one looks good. No marks. Cylinders are being re-nikasiled now. Is it okay just to get one piston and rebuild? Or?
  5. I inserted it into some boiling water and it showed 212*F
  6. ESR With Marshal shock proof gauge. $35 shipped.
  7. Yeah, up until now i never knew who manufactured the cylinders. Strange eh, that as soon as one buys a banshee they don't just absorb all the info that goes along with it.
  8. Was pulling apart a motor and noticed this etched in the side. I tried to search s/s racing but didn't find anything.
  9. if TORS deleted and you have the screws in side of carbs, screw them out to lower idle. a sync tool will also help. if they are stuck, remove carb and figure out a way to turn em.
  10. Sorry man. I have a left and a right bottoms. I remember one of my uppers got bent. So I pitched both when I went aftermarket.
  11. I know it is a fair ways from where I am. Lol I've dealt with Vito's before but never one of their cranks. I would say people use HOT ROD cranks 4 to one over a Vito's. But if your satisfied with how you think it will work take your time and build it right. It should be fine.
  12. If no one replays by tomorrow I may have one in my parts bin. I'll check tomorrow.
  13. Stock or aftermarket Right or left? Top or bottom?
  14. Are they a 3"? I think I have the 4" x4" ones and was worried about using them on my 4 mil serval. I wouldn't have an issue running them on a close to stock bike.
  15. Where in Ontario you from? I'm near CBF Trenton. I think most recommend Hotrod cranks. Was told the wiesco don't take to too much heat well. I'm pretty sure the only thing the "limits your RPM is your exhaust. We have no "rev limiter". I didn't see where you said your cylinders were ported or if you were actually running a spacer plate.
  16. Change your seals. Why chance your rebuild over a couple seals.
  17. I've never heard of that, but I have not been around that long either. Either way I myself would take the cylinder off and take it to a welding shop and have it TIG welded. But if it is that common I'm sure guys have easier quicker ways.
  18. part that the intake screws onto? you talking about the cylinders? A picture with you outlining where you know the leak is might help some.
  19. Stuff like that might be cheaper on eBay... Might it be knock off Chinese crap? maybe Might it be old stock from a closed business? who knows. Does F.A.S.T need to put more mark up on something because he has staff and insurance to pay, and not just run an eBay store? yeah.
  20. When i rebuilt my motor, i used YouTube a lot. Watch multiple videos of the same thing from different users, that way you can get different views and perspective.
  21. Okay, good news. My plan of attack: I dropped jets to 175 and needle to middle clip. I then resync'd carbs and went for a quick (1.5 min) rip. 75% of the vibration is gone. 95% of the bog/mis is gone. So thanks to you all I'm headed right way. Temps are dropping every day up in Ontario Canada, so now that I know I don't need to buy electrical parts I'm going to fog it and start fresh next year. I'm going to drain all the fuel and start fresh next year at either 40:1 or 50:1. To answer some of your questions, I don't think the jugs are ported other than a clean up port, but I see FAST did a case port. Up here in Canada we can get 94 fuel from PETRO CANADA. Who bought out Sunoco who carried it exclusively before. Compression was around 135 but might change domes in spring to get 150+ Air screw were 1.5 out. Thanks again all!
  22. When i pulled the flywheel off it looks like the stator is brand new, Not saying its not the problem as i was thinking it could be "electrical" and that's why i swapped flywheels thinking a little rust or rattle was the issue. However a good flywheel made no change. I will defiantly drop main jet a few sizes and see if it makes a difference. THANKS! I appreciate all help, little or big. Thank you.
