  1. Okay. Just wanted to let them know they had wrong number or something.
  2. The Yamaha dealership is a one minute quad ride down the road. Why would I pay $35 shipping for $30 worth of jets from the sponsors that are located in states and I'm in Canada.
  3. This is the second time Yamaha has ordered me in the jets on the right. They don't fit my carb which I believe to be factory. Anyone know how they make this error twice?
  4. don't really want to sell unless i have shearers in hand, but $350 shipped.
  5. All stock as they came from factory. These all came from perfect running engine. Crank $200 (shipped) Pistons $60 (shipped) Cylinders virgin $200 (shipped) Head shaved 20thou $30 (shipped) Head not shaved $25 (shipped)
  6. I'm willing to traded my toomey's plus some cash for your shearers. Or just pay cash for your shearer's
  7. Let me know what you got. Can also trade for Tooney T6's
  8. i just got mine from local Yamaha dealer. i don't know if its a common thing, but mine had pretty sharp edges and got a nasty cut.
  9. drain coolant. remove plug boots remove plugs remove head nuts remove gasket cleaner surface new gasket repeat steps backwards. torque to 25lb
  10. yeah, I'm going with a sevral. i figured by the time i buy some virgin cylinders, ship it down, have it ported, ship it back it will be close to the same price as a serval kit. I'm in Trenton. you? Perfect, that's the info i was looking for.
  11. The quote also has "cub" as a cylinder type by itself, so when i read the website i got side railed.
  12. Did some searches and found a thread, but didn't want to revive a 3 year old thread so i just took this quote from it. On the F.A.S.T website they list cheetah CUB and serval CUB. But jereme6655 says that Serval is different than a cub? From my reading lately i see that Serval, Cheetah, Wampus, Etc are all just different types of cylinders? Where does the CUB come into play?
  13. Just talked to Jeff at F.A.S.T. Thinking it will be a 4mil Serval Cub for now, pipes and carbs will be updated over winter.
  14. i have been looking. nothing popping up that i have seen lately. this isn't a USA better than Canada thread. but i will agree, if there is 1000 banshees in Canada, there are probably 30,000 in USA. if i was to set up a shop to specialize in banshee's in Canada, i would go broke pretty quick. Thanks for the info. Thank you to everyone else. lots of info that is pointing me in right direction. so many options out there for this great machine!
  15. I'm 2 hours. so $20ish dollars in fuel each way. not bad. OK, that info will give me a base line for what i need to start pricing stuff. Thank you for your info.
  16. pump gas 92-94 octane. i would like something between lots of power and more than i have. i want to to be reliable as well as hold on fun. i just wish we had builders up here, the shipping and exchange rate is what will make or break this. For every $1000US dollars will cost me $1275 Canadian dollars. so 2grand in parts will cost me 3grand Canadian after exchange and shipping. so that's why i was just seeing if i had everything thought of. trying to price it all out first. just trying to lay out all my eggs first.
  17. With Canadian dollar taking a crap, and shipping up to Canada from USA expensive i was trying to keep the shipping weight down hoping to buy what i could on my own. Sorry for lack of info. Mods: T6 pipes V-Force 3 reeds Timing +4 stock carbs Clutch is from Driveline with the HD springs
  18. i have been reading through the forum all morning trying to figure out what i need to build a 4 mil. i think if i pull the trigger, it will be a long rod build. Long rod crank --> http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Yamaha-Banshee-115mm-Long-Rod-Stroker-Crank-4mm-4-mil-4mm-TZ-Bearing-Crankshaft-/201289339693?hash=item2eddc7932d&vxp=mtr i then need pistons ( i assume if my walls are good i just need stock bore) or i may buy a set of used ones from someone in USA have them ship them to builder in the states to have them honed and measured and ported. pistons and gasket set should be ---> http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Wiseco-Yamaha-YFZ350-Banshee-64mm-Stroker-Long-Rod-Piston-Gasket-Kit-795M06400-/231606763877?hash=item35ecd6c165&vxp=mtr domes i would have cut buy the person who ports it. am i missing other details?

  21. This guys seems like a hell of a seller. I would of gladly bought em, but due to Canadian dollar being so low, it just made it too much. He tried his best to help me with the sale. Good luck!
