  1. Kicker gear not on right maybe?
  2. Sorry not the float its self but the little float plunger was in 180 deg. The wrong way.
  3. Well while I was ay work my buddy tore apart my carbs. And he said according to the picture in the clymers the float on the carb of the non firing side was spun 180 degrees. So it was facing the wrong directio. I guess at idle it was letting enough fuel in to fire at idle but once the throttle was hit it couldn't keep up with the demands. So he turned it its proper way and bam it fires all the time now. I didn't think it was possible but apparently the float needle has to go in a certain way
  4. I got yfz arms on my shee and am looking for a set of a-arm skids. Also looking for a belly skid. Pm me please.
  5. Problem fixed float needle was in backwards
  6. Ok problem fixed. The carb on the non firing side had the float needle in backwards turned it around and it runs great.
  7. The bottom jet looks like the ones outta the pwk carbs. Maybe other mikuni carbs take that jet. I heard that the stock carb jets are specific to the stock carbs.
  8. Did you set the pick-up coil when you put the new timing plate on? Should be like a creditcard thickness away from the nubs on the flywheel
  9. If you did it correctly then the .5 you got is to high.
  10. Coil test is primary side(black wire terminal to orange wire terminal) is supposed to be like 0.28-0.38 ohms I believe and secondary side(plug wire side) one lead on plug wire side and one lead on corresponding primary side and should get 47k ohms or higher I can remember what the high side limit is. Also check your plug.wires and boots.
  11. So I think I found the prob. I swapped carbs around and put a longer choke tube. On and the problem switched sides. Luckly I have a set of 28's that's going to be here tomorrow. I'll report back when I get them on.
  12. I'll tale pegs. Sending PayPal
  13. Got the bike running it was 50 ish degrees out and I got 25 pilots 300 mains and it idled the night I started it. Next day I went out to ride and it wouldn't idle and was only firing off one cyl.The other cyl was firing intermettmently. Swapped plug wires and the prob stayed on same side. Also I synced carbs and all. Hoppfully I can change the plugs and test a few things. Pull the non firing side carb and check float and all. And I think ill try a 27.5 pilot since its gotten warmer out and see if it will work.

  15. Thanks madd. Yea it stayed on same side. I had just sync'd them and my choke tube was on as well. But also when I sync'd one sides cable is almost all the way bottomed out on carb top. That is also the side not firing. I will check comprression.
  16. Also I noticed last time I rejetted that my slides had a dimple in them. They are not in the same place and I waswondering if its supposed to be there or whoever did the idle screws drill into them? Just wondering if its normal
  17. Will a banshee asv fit the yfz brake rezzi?
  18. Haha I hope that's it ill report back once I test them
  19. Yea I know it did run fine when I tore it down and it is Ricky stator's coil, plug and boots. Also I am picking up new plugs tomorrow. I'll check the above tomorrow and put new plugs in. Is it normal to get shocked by a plug boot? I thought that maybe since I don't have a motor to frame ground I became path of least resistance.that's why I got shocked.
  20. Also I was going to check the plug caps, wires and coil well but they are basically new.replaced them about 4 months ago.
  21. Ok so I finally got my bike together and took it out for a spin and it felt really sluggish. And my brother told me I was spitting gas out of one cyl. So this doesn't happen all the time. Sometimes it runs fine for a few minutes then starts to not fire. I switch plugs around and its still on the same side. Switched wires and still on same side. But I started wiggling the plug cap on the side not firing and it shocked the shit outta me which I though was odd. Anyway what's your alls thoughts? Also I forgot to grou.d the motor to frame so I will be doing that first and see if it changes.
  22. How bout the cases? Pm me please.
