  1. Also the reading on my coil is the same at 16k ohms with no caps on. But I don't get any con. Through the caps them selves.
  2. So I my bike won't start...ran fine last time I had it out. I checked stator it test good... Cdi dorsnt have a test in the manual and I tested primary coil side at .3ohms which is good but I tested the secondary side at 16k which isn't good according to the book but I then tested my buddies perfect running banshee coil and the secondary side has 60kohms which isn't supposed to be correct either so anyone have any ideas.
  3. Try swapping carbs like said just need a longer tube for choke that will yell ya if its a carb issue. Did you check the throttle cable to see if its broken? Is the choke tube still there?
  4. Check float needle? Had a similar problem but the float was sticking giving me to much gas and not letting it fire.
  5. Yea I just put on the airbox I was running pods. And port work that's the best I can say about it. I rebuilt my bike this winter and my old cyl. Were shot so I picked up the set I run now and the guy I got them from didn't know who ported them. I have a thread on here somewhere with pics. And the ele. Change I only ride at different ones maybe 2 times a year. So I can't justify a smart carb. Haha there sweet though.
  6. My plugs come out black but on a side note a friend of mine who is familiar with 2strokes was riding behind me and said I might be rich when I had 300's in. But I also think my carbs were crappy. I did get anither set of carbs in better condition so I think I will try the 300's again and go from there. By the way my elev. Is 88ft. But we were riding at the hatfield McCoy trials in WV mountains when my buddy said it was rich so it could have just been elevation. But when I ride again it will be about 80deg 88ft elev. Stock carbs with 27.5P 300M stock needle in middle clip. Mods are cfm air box with k&n filters,LRD pipes,cool head 20cc domes 140psi, +5 timing, mild port

  9. I sent my crank to hurr. I live in va he's in cali I think. And I got my crank back in 3 or 4 days so don't worry about turn around you'll be waiting on parts from various places mote that that.

  12. I got jets only reason I thought 310 was high cause I have lrd pipes pods and some other shit and the 300 mains where rich for me.
  13. 320 main is high don't you think for just pipes and no lid. I would think a 260 main. But I could be wrong.
