  3. Thanks guys. I dunno what you mean about posting to the site. And the trip kinda sucked I did whoop another guys xr400 dirtbike but shortly after I wrecked and hyper extended my knee, bent my tierod and bars. Damn stump came outta nowhere. Anyway I couldn't race the 250r or 450r dirtbikes so maybe next time.
  4. Choke tube is just on with no clamps. That's how I got em. And I didn't install the tors delete. But was thinking that might be the problem.
  5. I just built mine started it warmed up and hauled ass down the road a few times came back rechecked and went riding. Done deal did the same on my old 4 stroke. Both run great.
  6. I'm changing plugs today and I turned them in to 1.5 turns.

  12. Ok so I have been working on this build for probably 5 months. A lot of time waiting on parts and money haha. Any way I bought this banshee about 8 months ago and it was rattle canned black. I mean everything. Cleaned it up and what I had was the silver plastic banshee in my link. Went on a trip with some friends and had a great time but I couldn't beat my friend on his cr250r dirt bike. That's what made me want to tear it down and rebuild. So I did... Mods before tear down- Fatties Trinity 2-1 carb +4 timing Yfz front end including brakes Laker plastics Itp beadlock rears During tear down I found that my cylinders were shot, crank was seperating and O-rings torn, idler gear chewed up because the retainer clip was in the bottom of the cases, trans bearings shot, missing engine dampeners, swing arm bearing blew apart and the bearing chewed up the carrier and sleeve inside that spaces bearings apart so this is what I did. As it sits- Repainted lakers and race cut the rears because of a crack New crank trued and welded New cylinders ported Cool head with 20cc domes 140 psi in both LRD adjustable pipes Vf2's Toomey super cooler radiator Powdercoated frame bright blue pearl JDS wide pegs & tuning forks grill New plus 4 swinger with new bearings and seals New chain,sprockets,slider and guide New trans with new bearings seals and modded shift star Painted cases hi temp black with all new seals. New steering stem bushings and seals New A-arm bushings and seals Pro taper bars Odi grips Went to stock carbs with cfm aluminum airbox Black asv levers Kill switch Billet brake hub and lock nut Billet stator cover and clutch side inserts I think it turned out great and it runs awesome. I'm leaving for another trip in a week so we will see what happens with the 250r and another guy picked up a 450r dirtbike and is talking shit so hopefully I can report back with the ass wooping they received.   14. Also willing to sell have 2 extra sets of needles and 45 pilots and 140 mains are in it now. Have an extra set of 160's and have brand new jets coming in the mail from jetsrus. Was going to use them but changed my mind. When the new jets come in I'm looking to get 225 shipped
  15. For CPI I can see that but the carbs go for around 200 or so and trading them for a set of fatties or pc's isn't so far fetched but like I said throw out some offers
  16. Sorry the air box is the no top aluminum one CFM performance with k&n filters.
  17. Ok so I have lrd adjustable pipes, +5 timing, vf2's, cool head 20cc domes, mild port, stock carbs tors delete with uni pods. Switching to a airbox with k&n's soon. Elevation is 88ft above sea. 65 degrees had 25 pilots and 300 mains. It idled fine but would hang when gas was tapped. So I switched to a 27.5 and the hanging stoped but it won't idle. At the moment idle screws are all the way in and mixture screws 2 turns out. Carbs are clean and synced. Any ideas.

  19. Small bore small flange inframes to be more specific. Would love some CPI's can also throw in chrome drag bars and billet exhaust clamps.

  21. I thought that to but since I didn't tear it down I'm just going off what my buddy found. Haha rode today and still runs strong. Although I had 25 pilots in it and it would idle ok but when you taped the gas the rev would hang for a bit so I thought it was lean on the pilot so I went up to a 27.5 no.it won't idle but it doesn't hang anymore.
