  1. Update: Visited the track last week and wanted to share some progress. Set up: Went from 18 inch A.R. to 20 inch A.R. (6psi) power Jets opened all the way (it was below 50 degrees) 205lb rider Results: 60ft 1.48 1/8 6.3 mph 102mph With proper tuning of carbs and clutches, I should see better results. Now its time to read the clutch tuning thread
  2. How much just for crank?
  3. what distance are you running?
  4. What brand are tires? Hard to read in pic. Are they still for sale? Did they hook for you? are they banshee pattern?
  5. They fit stock frame with no mods?
  6. I hate fucking theives. Hope u find your bike. Someone knows something.
  7. Thanks for the info tricked and zilla
  8. Might be a dumb question but what does the rod length determine?
  9. Received my swing arm from JD. He makes quality products. Swinger looks great. Thanks JD.
  10. Sounds like a fun weekend. Anyone want to rent out a banshee to me? LOL
  11. Hopefully they didnt shit you on the crank. I can see a builder doing a shitty port job but If they shitted you on a crank then that is just bad business on their part. But these days people are liable to do anything. My competitive cousin bought a crate DM and I am just waiting to line up beside him and embarrass him. Told him not to go that route and to have a well known builder to do it. Now he cant even make it through 3 test passes without ripping into engine.
  12. Heavy rider? I would change plugs first since that may be the easiest/cheapest thing to do first.
  13. The bike i purchased had a 7mil billet crank , dune ported cylinders, +6 swinger, extra set of wheels (16 paddle haulers and ffront dune tires) and big bore CPI's. It was setup for dunes and i wanted an aphalt setup. Dropped bike off at F.A.S.T. (Jeff and Cody) to figure out why it was breaking up under a load and to get an override installed. I tried cleaning carbs, new jets and it wasnt working. Since I needed to get an overrided installed i figured i would just have them figure it out. Well after explaining what I wanted to do, decided to get the cub kit on race gas. Glad I went this route. Also got goodies for bottom end to support the build as well. Jeff builds strong motors and I sent it back only to have ported and to convert to alky because I ran a 10mil cub on alky and put a few bikes on him due to me having a bar and he didn't. So i knew that I would have it ported and on alky since the word was about to get out about that race and everyone has 10mil or bigger motors on alky in lighter frames. If only they knew how to get the bike to hook and go straight I would be worried. but most of them cant hold it between the lines.
  14. Sorry you joined BHQ to late. I did the same thing when i first got my banshee. I wish I joined this site first. For the money that I put into the bike and the money i put in it, i could have purchased an entire bike with what I needed for thousands less. Not to say I didn't get a good bike to begin with. It's life though. You live and you learn. with all the advice and many bikes owned by the members here I am sure you will obtain your HP goal with no problem. Let's just say once i went with a site sponsor, my business has stayed with him. Very satisfied.
  15. Definitely needed this to get a few bolts without buying the entire kit.
  16. What type of riding/racing will you be doing? That will help people answer you questions?
  17. Money should be in your account. Thanks for the business.
  18. Ill take +6 please pm to confirm u still have it and ill send money asap
  19. What part of N.C.?
  20. Get a photobucket account and upload pics there. Then copy the IMG link on the right side for all pictures and post here.
  21. My stock cylinders have a similar looking port job. No one knew who did it. Guy i got the bike from lives in Missouri so may be a Precision Powersport port job. I went with a cub so it was that important for me to find out. The guy duned with it.
  22. yeah the +6 was a beast on the street. I may have to have two setups. One for street and one for track. I run street mostly but the track is growing on me.
  23. Cool, most guys around me are running 17/34 with bigger motors than me. I think 18 in front will put me there or close to it then i can tune with rear.
