  1. 10mil cub? Will cost more and you will surprise the 4mil cubs in your area. I have 7mil that i run in 1/8th but would have went with 10mil but I purchased my bike with a 7mil already in it.
  2. Wow, thought this bike would have been sold. This tells me that I will not sale my bike ever. Ill keep mine until my 2yr old son can ride cause I refuse to give it away for nothing. If my house sell for a profit and you still have it I may have to take it off your hands.

  5. I live in KC, MO but I race in NC when I visit. I will ask the guys in NC to see who all are going. its a bunch of areas in NC that have crews that go different places. I have heard of ppl from GA and FL coming up to race where we race at though.
  6. No, Do my racing in NC. Thanks,, I have banshee sprocket hub now but would like to get honda hub to try 36t in the rear. Figured I would just wait until I get the drag axle instead of wasting time getting a hub for stock axle. My primary gears are stock ratio straight cuts, running an 18 inch tire and bike is heavy as hell...stock chassis and I am 215lbs.
  7. I ran the 18 before and motor can pull it with no problem. I guess I need to get it to the track and try both sprockets and see what the times look like. I was just curious because I am running bigger bikes now and i want as much pull as possible across all gears. I ran a 10 mil cub ported on alky, stock head without a wheelie bar and that was his mistake. I jumped out on him and never saw him again. I have a 7mil on race gas (unported). I know that he next time he will have a wheelie bar and it should be a better race. I plan to get ported and alky in fall. For the time being I thought that I would play with gearing to see if i could get a better pull through all gears.
  8. Can someone explain tall gearing vs short gearing. I drag race on asphalt and was wondering how the gearing effect torque. I am running a 17t front and 38t rear. I run on the street and the gearing is damn near perfect for the 1/8th mile. What I am wondering is if I go to an 18t front, will that increase the pull down low, up top or all around?
  9. Once that works, have one side stroked longer than the other, then it can limp its way along..lol
  10. my bike is in NC. Thats where I do my racing. The temperature was around 77-80 degrees that day it was pulling back a little. the next day it was 60 degrees and the motor pulled through all gears. It seems to have been a main jet issue. more air getting sucked in on the cooler day which made it run a lot stronger down low and up top.
  11. and it topping out a lil past the 1/8th mile mark. which is almost dead on.

  14. and i dont have billet bowls....just dual pingle. might be running out of fuel around 4th gear. i do have a lil leak around pingle as well. think builder forgot to put teflon tape. could this effect the gravity feed or something? Just asking
  15. i think there is only one nut on each arm bolt.I have not measured the weight though. I have not tuned lockup at all. it snatched clutch right from your hand from the gate though. I will do a plug chop to make sure thats not an issue. its warmer outside and I went down on my main from 178 to 175. 178 was pulling hard in 40-50 degree weather. now its like 75-80. I left my dremel in KC and have no way to cut plug though

  17. So i have a drag bike and gearing is 17/38. Pulls hard through 1st 2nd, 3rd, and mid way through 4th it stop pulling as hard and then picks back up into fifth. I was thinking jetting but then i thought that full throttle the entire time so main jet should not be the issue cause it would have lagged out the gate. I am not shifting to fast cause it hits 4th and pulls then half way you can feel the pull lighten up and come back. Cub is not ported, i am running shearers, fresh plugs, running 38 pwk so should be plenty of fuel for motor, wires were new as of nov 2012 but only about 2-3 hrs on bike. I am thinking porting will fix issue but just wanted to make sure there isnt something else i am missing that could be a quick fix. Another rider rode and felt the same thing as I did. Please provide thoughts

  21. I have a set of stock cylinders (7mil) with pistons and vitos hemi head with domes if interested. text me for pics (336) 254-9461.Not sure who did the port but the guy i got them from duned with them. I get off work around 6p central time and can get pics when I get home.
