first off compression and leak down test. you will have to jet the bike correctly for the current temp for it to run its "hardest" . most people for trail riding will find the jets to be spot on for a certain temp and go up about 2 sizes on the main. however if you jet it for summer weather,in the winter your going to have to rejet due to the temp drop. you should clean the carbs and all the jets with compressed air and carb cleaner, make sure the carbs are synced. its pretty obvious that your not too familiar with your machine so take some time and research this site. learn about jetting, air leaks ect. everyone was in your spot at some point. once you have more knowledge and the bike is dialed in its just normal stuff like changing oil, plugs, chain adjustment, greasing things ect
