I had a 4 mil dune port stock cylinder by Kev. Once I upgraded to 35mm carbs it had... Um lets just say the bottom end wasn't good to say the least. He also gave me a wang crank. Not to bash Kev but I don't think his domes were not all that great and the porting was ok. cam at redline has my vote and this is from someone with 125hp+ banshee now. He also dyno his engines and can show you what your going to get

i run skids. like zilla said if you ride in rocky places ect then run them. if i didnt have a arms skids one of my chrome lsr arms would of been dented about 2 weeks ago. i dont have the $ to be buying new a arms left and right. ha! i wish i could say i get to ride in the sand and not have to worry about skid plates!
Oh yea for sure. Who knows... with the popularity of these lately something else may evolve like new cylinders. Wishful thinking I know but you never know what the future will bring. Yea I remember discussing it. Hope this informs more people on the forum
Of course the dm will shine in open roads or trails. However I have rode tight technical trails with it and haven't had a issue yet. I'm not popping the clutch and pinning it the whole time in the technical stuff though. Not moving anywhere and pinning it could cause some heating issues due to lack of air flow
mike how did the motor feel for the 15 min that you rode it? i know you only had 2 gears but thought i would ask. the bigger the motor and the harder you ride, the faster it will eat tires up. nature of the beast
No you have to start over. IMO you should go with a 4 mil 421 serval or cub depending on what you want more out of the motor. I went from a stock bolt on bike to a 4 mil ported stock cylinder bike. It had alot more power everywhere compared to a stock motor with pipes Ect. However I grew out of it kind of fast and wanted more power.i currently have a 10mil 611cc bike. The more $ you dish out the more hp and torque uthe motor will make.
My old gym was 40 a month. Just joined a new one and it's 10 a month. Not a planet fitness either.... It's called the "edge". Has all the shit my old one had and free tanning. It was a no brainer
I got the Elka 5 due to the fact that god forbid the foxs floats leak then your all done. At least you have a spring to ride on if the Elka broke. I highly doubt either shock would have a problem... What I like about the Elka is don't gotta adjust air pressure. Basically maintance free . Either way what ever you go with even if it was the Elka 3 you'll love them
