  1. Guys just went to the dunes with some friends, both have 450r,s one is ported and cam bigger piston and dasa, other is same without the porting. Well when dragging the ported one would get me by half a bike if I didn't shift absolutely perfect. He had straight 8 paddles. My bike has a frest top end with HjR dune port, +4 timing, stock crank, chariot reeds, fmf fattys, 28mm pwk's, 13/41 gearing with crappy v paddles. I know I need to change sprockets and get better paddles but I thought I would be pulling harder on him. I rode the ported 450r and it hooks up and pulls hard as fuck

  5. Not sure when I get back to tucson I'm goin to put it on a dyno and tune it right. I also think my 13th sprocket is hurting me on top end
  6. Talked to Kevin at hjr and he said to put needle on middle clip and go down on pilot with .5 air screw. All I had was 45 pilots so I put them in and it's running a lot better
  7. I can run to Yuma and get those jets which should I throw in? And it's jjh needles
  8. Thanks, the stock head was just milled my hjr. I moved the clip down one and I'm at .5 on air screws and it got a little better. Still not right though. Btw it's about 90 degrees here
  9. I turned screws to 1.5 in and it's bogging on bottom an has a sputter on top end. Do you think it's a lean problem and not lean?
  10. Yes they are 28 pwk. Two turns out on air screws and n68 needles on middle clip. 50 pilot and 155 main as of right now. I'm at gordons well and I only have 48 pilots and 150 mains as extra jets
  11. I'm at the dunes right now (sea level), I just got a new top end with hjr porting and milled head, chariot reeds, fmf fattys and +4 timing. Before the port I had on my 28 pwk's 150 mains with 48 pilots and 2 turns on air screw. I'm at sea level now with 155 mains and 50 pilots after the port and it's bogging on bottom end what should I adjust?

  16. Guys HJR has my cylinders doing a dune port and milling the head. I'd like to go ahead and buy the jets I need to get it tuned. I live at 3000asl but and going on a trip to gordons which is 250-300asl I believe, where should I start with the jetting? Other mods are +4 timing, chariot reeds, fmf fattys, and 28mm pwk's

  22. Need to know what you plan on reloading. There are tons of YouTube vids on how to reload and set up presses and dies. Buy several reloading books and read read read. Join snipershide forum and read on their reloading section there's tons of info there and stickies on step by step instructions. It's a fun hobby.
