I have a 97 banshee with fmf gold fattys, and k&n single filter. Im at 2200ft now and have 27.5 pilot and 340 main in my banshee. What change would i need to make for riding at Gordon Wells? I think the elevation there is around 300ft. And also is what im running fine for 2200ft? im new to two strokes. Thanks.

I took them off for the picture. Thx for the info guys I'll find the leak hopeful this weekend when I have time. Does anyone know if the jet sizes are fine for my elevation?

I took the bike for a ride today and it wouldnt idle and then it started revving real high on its own at idle. when i would try to ride it would bog and cut out from 0 to about 3/4 throttle then kick in and go sometime wouldnt go at all. i brought it home and pulled the carbs and they arent that dirty but i need info on the jets, the main jet says AB290 and the body of the needle jet says 345 0-8, also the pilot jet is 27.5 is this ok for 2300 elevation and just exhaust and intake?

ILL have to buy one the bike came like this so I don't have any factory parts for it

Also I bought the quad in phoenix which is at 1100 ft elevation and where I live is 2100-2300 ft above sea level could this be the problem? And if I ditch the boost bottle what do I put in place of it?

I use 93 octane but I haven't got to ride much so I don't know what the other guy ran

I mixed yamalube at 32:1 and this is my first 2stroke. When I'm cruising around the pinging is there alot in the left pipe and very little in the right and when I stab the grottos there is a little hesitation and when the rpms kick in it's gone. I have a clymer manual but didn't find any info on this so I thought I'd ask y'all before taking to a shop. I just moved to Tucson az and am limited on my tools for a while

It sounds like a marble or rock is rattling around in the fattest part of my exhaust but once the power band kicks in it goes away and the bike takes off and hauls balls. I don't hear it around the engine just in the left exhaust

im sorry but i dont know what tdc is, isnt +4 timing what most people run?

i just bought a 97 banshee about a week ago and havent had time to ride it until today. I dont know very much about them to know if this is normal but there is a loud pinging in the left exhaust at lower rpms. the guys said it had a top end done two seasons ago. it starts up good and hauls a$$ does this sound normal on a two stroke? it only has prodesign filter, fmf gold fattys, +4 timing, and boost bottle. Also Im in Tucson az does anyone know a good atv shop to look at?
