I dont have pictures of left side because i broke it during the chop lol but the left side looked alomost perfect it was solid white with a small brown ring. also the right side smokes more than the left and that is the side these pics are from. Should i go down to 300 mains? or 290?
  10. Which direction on the needle is lean? I just did a plug chop I don't have pics but the left side seemed perfect with a light brown ring and he right side had a little darker brown but wasn't a perfect ring more like swirls.

  16. ok thx the shop i went to builds quads and does porting and all that but i understand this is the place to get info ive been reading and reading and reading on here. Another member close by me offered to help me so i appreciated that. I finally got it running yesterday. different plugs and i think the floats were getting stuck but anyway its running now thx for the help.
  17. yes it would rev up and thats why i took it to the shop. They said it was the reeds so they replaced them and said it ran fine. but.... it hasnt started since i got it from the shop. Yes i dumped the fuel out of the exhaust twice and cleaned carbs twice. I am going to rebuild the carbs this week and then go from there. The plugs are new and a compression check is on this weeks list also. ive put fresh fuel, cleaned carbs and air filter, key is on killswitch is on gas is flowing to carbs, plugs have spark.
  18. ok i got the fuel to flow properly and it still wont start. it almost seems like it isnt firing but when i pull the plugs and hold them by the head and crank it theres spark on both plugs. Also it keeps flooding and getting fuel into my exhaust pipes.
  19. I just put a clear inline filter before the carbs and with the lines off the carbs the fuel flows freely but kinda flows more to the right host than the left. Then when I attach the hoses to the carbs the fuel doest flow any ideas?
  20. I don't know what to do the shop put reeds in it. I just cleaned the carbs, but new fuel lines with inline filter cleaned the k&n new plugs. 290 main jet, 27.5 pilot, air screws 1.5 turns out
  21. Ok just took off exhaust and they were full of fuel both sides
  22. A month ago I bout a 97 banshee with prodesign filter, fmf fattys on it. It ran fine for a few days and then would rev up on it's own and not run right. I took it to Racersedge here in Tucson and they said it was a problem with the reeds so the put some stock reeds In it and said it ran. I got it home and put fresh fuel (yamalube 32:1 93 octane) and it would t start. I have spark on both plugs, fuel lines are clear so carbs are getting fuel, I haven't do e a compression check yet any ideas? Also when I pulled the plugs after trying to start it they were wet. Any help would be appreciated
  23. It's a stock airbox with no lid, and an adapter with a k&n on it. The adapter says prodesign on it.
  24. What size would you recommend instead of the 340? Maybe 300?
