  1. I had a six foot tall flag and it hit the branches in the trails. Wasn't too annoying though.
  2. I'm already pumped for this one! It looks like we'll have a great turn out again!
  3. Yep, it's that time again! We had an AWESOME turn out and even better weather last year! I'll pray that we have the same luck this year!!
  4. Right on man, you getting another bike?
  5. Okay guys, for those who remember last year at Badlands you'll remember how much fun we had! It's time to do it again. This year we're looking at a date of March 27th. That's the last Saturday in March. Be there! If you want to see the pictures from last years ride Click here!
  6. Do you still have this swinger? I'm looking for a plus six!
  7. Check out the cottages! How sweet would it be to get one of these places?? http://www.cottagesonsilverlake.com/content.aspx?page=cottage_sheetsNgiggles
  8. Not sure yet. If we have an enclosed trailer I'd say we'll find a local hotel but if we bring our open trailer then we'll most likely camp. I'm not leaving my bike out on an open trailer over night unattended while I crash in a hotel. I'm looking for an enclosed trailer to borrow or rent.
  9. That's why I wanted to plan it this far in advance. That way people like myself have time to buy paddles and sparkies and other people have time to get their bikes back together. There are 4 in my group that will be going...
  10. JD, CB6979 on my site is in need of a Monster grille. He originally bought that shocker one from you at Badlands but recently put Monster graphics on it and now he took off the shocker grille. He's either going to attempt to sell the shocker grille or see if you'd cut him a deal on the Monster one if he sends the shocker back to you. Anyway, hit him up when you get a chance.
  11. WOW, I'm beginning to wonder about this trip now. My luck, I'll get my bike all ready for the dunes by buying tires and sparkies then get tested and turned away after a 7 hour drive. Sounds a little risky to me.
  12. Hey Mike, I'd be careful buying AMS. I've heard they are junk. Check out this thread on my site. http://www.bansheecentral.com/general-f2/do-not-buy-ams-tires-t651.htm?highlight=ams+tires they split right down the middle.
  13. I've been working with JD (Michigan local) and we've planned a trip to Silver Lake Sand Dunes. We plan to arrive bright and early on Friday April 23rd and ride all day Friday and Saturday then return home on Sunday. If it's warm enough we plan to camp while were there. To get in you will need the following. Annual ORV sticker $18 daily admission per vehicle (this includes your truck and your quad) $8 each a day Spark Arrestors I hope to see a lot of people there! We have plenty of time to plan this out!!
  14. I'm interested for sure. Can you shoot pictures of the 22" dune runners and the 22" 9 paddle extremes if you have them handy to [email protected]
  15. I'm working with a stock swing arm right now. I'll be switching to a plus 6 here shortly. The stock swing arm is SCARY right now with this motor.
  16. racing for sure and hill shooting
  17. I found these rear paddles. How will these work? 8 paddle enough for my motor?? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Sand-Hauler-Paddle-Tire-Set-2-Rear-ATV-Paddle-Tire_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem335986aa8bQQitemZ220545329803QQptZMotorsQ5fATVQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
  18. So if I go up there with my CPI inframes and get tested, will I pass the sound law? I'd be ticked if I drive 7 hours and get turned away at the gate.
  19. We are planning a trip to the dunes and I need some sand tires. I'll be lucky to hit the dunes once a year so I don't want to drop a lot of cash on a set of tires that will pretty much sit in my garage 360 days a year. What would be a suitable paddle for me to run? I really want Skat~Trak Haulers 22x11x8 (10 paddle) but they are outrages. I want something that will work good with my dune ported 4mil. Fronts, what about these? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-FRONT-DURO-SAND-MASTER-TIRES-21X7X10-SAND-TIRES_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem5ad651e46dQQitemZ390142747757QQptZMotorsQ5fATVQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories or these? http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/productDetail.do?navType=type&webTypeId=138&navTitle=Tires+and+Wheels&webCatId=8&keyword=SAND+TIRE&prodFamilyId=26027#vehicleSelect
  20. Man Alf that's messed up! I heard about this initially from my site in the Admin/staff lounge so yes you are correct when you say it will spread to other forums! I don't see how anybody could send that box of parts like that! Hopefully he does the right thing and rectifies the situation. Keep us posted man.
  21. I'm going to go with a different wheel/tire combo so these gotta go. I bought these new in the fall of 2008 and only rode on them a few times in 2009 as my bike was down all summer to build the motor. They've got plenty of life left in them. Make some offers. If you have Honda radials or 9" douglas blue labels, I'll do some trading... I'll get pictures of them by themselves but here's the most recent pictures of them.
  22. I hope you like the new bike Lynn. I've owned a couple of street bikes but always end up back on my Banshee. I love riding the streets but it's the idiots on the street that you have to watch for. I got tired of being cut off and people pulling out in front of me so I decided my street riding days are over unless I move somewhere where there isn't a lot of traffic. Good luck with it man and be safe!
