I recently just finished building it and let me tell you it is crazy fast! Everything is the best of the best on this one and I'm willing to sell it for less than half than what I have in it. I guess where I'm at is there were two wrongs. The wrong item was shipped and the buyer had the wrong part machined prior to inspecting it. I was also under the impression that the buyer wanted to return the part for the 4mm part. I do believe the company should have made it right by offering thicker gaskets if that would have made the buyer happy. I can't say the blame is 100% either way because it's really not. Also, keep in mind with situations like this there is always three sides to the story. That is the buyer's side, the seller's side and the truth.

There is a huge and very easy to see difference from 2mm vs 4mm. Prior to cutting on it, someone should have checked it. I am a quality manager at my work and deal with this type of issue on a daily basis. If a company sends my company something out of spec they'll replace it. However, if we modify it in any way then they will no longer replace it. I think Inland was in the wrong with their customer service, but ultimately once that plate was ground on it was of no use to Inland. There was a lack of communication that led to the plate getting port matched which I don't see as Inland's fault.

Well, we were supposed to go buy it tonight and the guy text us saying it was already sold. He said his phone was blowing up all day and he thinks he priced it too low. I'm thinking he took the add down and will relist it with a higher price tag. We had cash ready to buy it tonight and we agreed that we would meet at 7:00pm tonight. He text us around 5pm saying it was already sold.

I called and left a message. I also sent him a text. If it's legit, my buddy is buying it today. He's ready to leave work now and go get it.

Okay, I just spoke MikeNick and RunDMC. MikeNick is ready and willing to go. Although he is in the process of selling and buying new shocks, he's ready when I am. RunDMC is like me, just not ready. It's not going to happen for us. My good friend and riding buddy CB6979 can't go in April either. He wants to go but won't be ready in time. He also had some mishaps at Badlands that need to be fixed before he makes this trip. We've tentatively set a date for the weekend of August 6th and 7th. We figure it will be a lot warmer up there, we'll have time to really prep for the trip and get our cabin or place to stay reserved. For me, a hotel is not an option unless I have an enclosed trailer. Being in August, we most likely can just camp since it'll be warm at night then. It sucks, but it is what it is. I would try to set the date a little sooner but I'm also planning around a family vacation and we all agree August is idea for us. You guys have fun and like I said, take lots of pictures! We'll be there in August!

Oh, On the axle. If I can commit, I'll take it. I don't want to take it though unless I know for sure. My replacement axle will be back a week after this trip.

I know, it sucks man. I really want to go and I've wanted to go to Silver Lake for a LONG time now. I'll call the two people (MikeNick and RunDMC) that were planning on riding with me to see what if anything we can figure out. Trust me, I want to go. I've already bought my ORV sticker for the quad. Is it a 2.5" Cobra Sparky? If so, I'll most likely take it! I can surely find another one on ebay or something. I know my buddy CB can't go and he has a set of paddles that I'm sure I could borrow. I've been holding out to buy a set of Skat Traks. He has a set of Sand Geicos that I could use. Anyone know how good these would do up there? --- Thanks to everyone for trying to make this trip happen for me. Honestly, I should have focused more on Silver Lake than Badlands so I would have been ready. I'll contact MikeNick and RunDMC to see where they stand. The last time I spoke with them was about postponing the trip til August and they both agreed to it. TRUST ME, I want to go bad. I just feel so unprepared for it and now with my axle on backorder and lack of other necessities and no cabin or place to stay yet, I pretty much threw in the towel. I'll see what I can do to pull it off and let you guys know. When is everyone planning to ride? Friday and Saturday? Just Saturday? Sunday??

I won't be making this trip. With no axle, no paddles yet and no sparkies yet I'm just not ready. Still recovering from Badlands too. I will make it this year, we were talking about maybe in late July or early August. Have fun and take lots of pictures to show me what I'm missing!

If it's straight and bolts up I don't see why not! Are they the same width? If so, MikeNick may have one too because he's got an old junk Warrior in pieces!

I had some requests so here are the pictures.

I've got two Verizon LG ENV2 phones that I no longer need. Both have a charger that come with it. One has a 1gb micro SD card and one has a 2gb micro SD card that comes with it. They are both in very good shape with only minor flaking of the chrome around the outer perimeter of the phone. I'm looking to get $50 each for these plus shipping. I can post pictures if anyone is interested. This is what they look like.

Who built it or where did it come from? That shock mount is not for a stock shock/dogbone setup. Just wanted to give you the heads up as to why it may not be selling. The shock mount should be 4 inches up closer to the pivot bearing side.

Well, I may be out of this trip... I recently got a used g force axle from a friend and found out it was bent while we were at Badlands. I called Rocky Mountain ATV to see about a warranty replacement and they are going to replace it but they are out of stock til the end of April! So no axle = no Banshee.... I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll get a replacement in time but I wanted to put this out ASAP because I know a couple of you guys are planning on going up with me! My only hope is someone has a stock axle that I can use for this trip! I've got some calls to make.....

I'm hoping gas prices drop or at least don't rise! I put $110 in gas just to get to Badlands and back. It'll be $250 in gas to get to Silver Lake and back if the prices are the same! It's crazy!

So does this mean you'll sell the wheels for the difference?

Okay cool! I need to get my time off approved. What day are you thinking we should head up? We were talking about leaving Thursday after work so we only needed to take off Friday from work. I was thinking head up Thursday evening, ride all day Friday and Saturday then come home Sunday.
