  1. I've owned 2 Banshees and a YFZ and have always had a title on all of them. I'm actually buying a Banshee and a YFZ tomorrow. I've been looking all week and it seems like nobody has titles anymore. It's crazy and yea I don't really want to buy anything without one, but I don't know what to do since I can't find any with a title. I found 2 YFZs with a title and 0 Banshees with a title and I've searched a 300+ mile radius from my house.
  2. Hey guys, it's been a while, but I'm buying a new bike tomorrow. I'm just not sure which one to get! I've got it narrowed down to two. I'm planning on doing a frame off super serval build. This 99 (It says 2002, but it's a 99, I checked the VIN) for $1400 http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/mcy/3743639077.html and this 2006 which he will take $2700 http://lexington.craigslist.org/rvs/3801475108.html Neither bikes have titles, which sucks, but nowadays it seems like 90% or more don't have titles. I want a nice solid foundation for my new build. My new build is going to be all black so the 2006 is more appealing to me in that aspect. The 2006 needs nothing, it's bone stock and basically new. The 99 needs a few things, has stitched plastics which I would replace anyway, needs a new off/run switch, and needs cleaned up. I didn't get to run a compression test on the 99, but it did take a good 10-15 kicks to fire it up and the kicker seemed a little soft. Then again, I'm used to the one in my sig that has really high compression... Here's where I'm at. Pros of the 99. It's 20 minutes away, it's cheap leaving plenty of cash for the build, Cons of the 99. It needs some TLC. Pros of the 06. It's already black and I wouldn't have to get new plastics, I know the motor is solid and hasn't been opened up, its basically new. Cons of the 06. It's 3 hours always, it's $1300 more than the 99. Which would you get? I'm doing this tomorrow and seriously don't know which one to buy!
  3. Are you firm on the price? I'm in Cincinnati and have cash in hand ready to buy something before Memorial Day. PM me your cash price and if we can work it out I'll come get it Thursday.
  4. One of my friends just happened to be at Badlands when you guys were there. He was telling me about it. I plan to hit Badlands in 2013 once I get my new bike built. I've been to two other BHQ rides there and it was always a good time!
  5. I'm going to have to check in to it! Thanks man.
  6. I have no idea.... I sold it, the site crashed and I refunded the money. That was the end of it.
  7. These serval cylinders, do they take small or big bore pipes?
  8. It was a site that I built a few years ago. Nothing special. Building websites and forums has been a hobby of mine for many years and this was just one of my projects.
  9. I'm not sure yet. I was thinking 7 or even 10 mil. What's up with the serval? People started talking about that when I sold mine so I don't know much about it.
  10. Yes you did. LOL. But I went through a lot since then. I'll have to fill you in...
  11. No, I'll probably end up just building another one like my 04. I should've just kept it.
  12. Really considering it Chris.... Whatever I buy is going to be completely rebuilt.. I am going to message him see if I can go see it. This other one for $1500 isn't a bad deal either and it's close....
  13. Looking now.
  14. I didn't see it in the classified. Where can I see it at? Amelia isn't far from me. I'm in Lebanon....
  15. Well I'm looking to buy another Banshee. This will be the third one that I've owned. My first one was a 2002 that I bought new from the dealer. The 2nd one was one that I found on Craigslist for $2300 and turned into a F.A.S.T. aggressive dune ported bike. I plan on completely rebuilding my new one from the ground up so I'm looking for a non-running solid foundation. Both of my bikes were A arm bikes and the one I found is an 87 J arm bike. He only wants $400 for it. I'm just not sure if I want J arm... Thoughts? http://huntington.craigslist.org/mcy/3331752369.html
  16. I posted it back on CL without the trailer so if it sells without it, the trailer is all you!
  17. Also, although I stated it before, I can not take $3500 for it. The lowest I can go is $4000 without the trailer. That's stupid low for the amount of cash I have wrapped up in this bike!
  18. For right now I'm not planning on parting it. It runs too good to part out. If I can't get $3500 out of it then I'll just keep it. I just dropped $1800 in the motor alone last fall and only have rode it twice since then. The more I think about it the more I think I may not even go that low. I don't need to sell it, I just hate not riding it and it just sitting in the garage.
  19. na, not there yet. If I don't get any bites at this price I'm just keeping it. I'm looking at a boat this Sunday so worst case I'll have a boat and the Banshee. HA HA I just wish I had more time to ride the Banshee. I haven't rode it since Badlands back in March... I only priced it this low in HQ. Craigslist and even Banshee Central still have it listed for $4500.
  20. $3500 and I keep the trailer? This is a stupid low price for this bike!
  21. BUMP, how about $4000 for everything including the trailer? That's practically giving it away compared to what it cost to build it!
  22. The swinger is actually blue, it's the same one that's on the bike. As of right now, I'm not parting it out. I just want to gauge interest. If I do part it, I'd like to sell the motor as a whole. It runs excellent and I hate to tear apart a perfect motor.
  23. To the top. If I were to part it out, who would want what? I'd have to sell the big ticket items first (Motor, pipes, carbs, frame....)
  24. It's a combination of the smaller 19" tires up front and the plus 4 swingarm. I think the camera exaggerates it a little too, it really doesn't strike you as sitting way high in the back in person. Thanks man! I hate to see it go too, but with all but one of my riding buddies selling their bikes and only riding it 3 times since I got it back together in October of last year, I just don't see the point in keeping it. I live really close to a big lake and think I would get more use out of a boat. At least my whole family can go out with me.
