I am going to get with JD and put an "official" Silver Lake trip together and invite people from SouthernOhioRiders.com as well. I'd like to make it an annual fall event. We did the first annual spring Badlands trip and had a great turn out and I plan to organize that trip every spring and this trip to Silver Lake every late summer / fall. It will not be on a holiday weekend due to how crowded these places get. I've got the weekend after Labor day penciled in and will make an official thread after the Big Rock trip. To keep it simple, I want to make the Badlands trip the weekend before Memorial Day and the Silver Lake trip the weekend after Labor day. By making it an annual trip people will remember it and the trip will grow every year. They will both be multi day trips (Fri - Sun) and I'll probably come up with some catchy name for the rides.

I've got a few from SouthernOhioRiders.com coming too. I'd like to see a big turnout, you guys will love big rock. I will be there in the white Dodge Ram. The parking lot isn't huge so we can all just gather in a corner so we can all park together. Since my motor is in Kansas at F.A.S.T. I'll be on the YFZ 450 so you guys gotta take it easy on me when we get the drag racing going :woot: I hope we have more show up than the 6 listed above. This place is 50 times better than Haspin and we had a decent turnout at Haspin even with the weather. Also, remember to tell Duke you are with HQ for the group discount. It'll be $15 each.

First and only post here on HQ. Protect yourself if you buy. Not saying you're going to get ripped off, but just be carefull.

CPI's will burn you as any other pipe if you ride in shorts. I vote CPI if you like to ride in the RPMs and go fast on the top end. T5's are the best all around pipe if you like to ride trails and stuff.

I know Mexico still gets them. Maybe you could get one from there?

That's not saying much, I own both and I will tell you first hand the 450 NOT superior to a Banshee. As for the Banshee, they are not banned in the US. They no longer sell them in the US due to the EPA and emissions, but by no means are they banned. If you want a new one then I say go for it. I don't see you having any problems importing one. There's no feeling like buying one brand new. I bought my first one brand new and it's a good feeling.

You don't have to epoxy anything. It doesn't have anything to do with the 4mil.

No work for me. Just my hard earned money. LOL Jeff says it's good for 2 to 3 hp so I went with it. For $100 I don't think it's too bad really. He's going to get the cases done, send them back and I can get my bottom end assembled and ready for the cylinders.

Mine would drop idle a little at red lights. It was the EGR. Good to go now that I fixed it.

LOL I follow ECHL. I loved the Dayton Bombers but since this was their last year I've gotta follow the sucky Cyclones. I do like the Blue Jackets too!

I can vouche for AWR. I've seen people spend big money (cough cough Damon ) and still get beat by AWR. And anyone that was at Haspin saw how quick his black bike with blue frame was.

He is VERY busy right now. He's heading out for vacation after this week and is trying to get all the bikes ready before he leaves. He's got my motor right now, can't wait to get it back. His feedback speaks for itself.

Jeff at F.A.S.T. has mine right now. I'm getting the cases ported and epoxied along with an aggressive Play/Dune port for my 4mil. Jeff is really good at what he does and has top notch customer service.

Yes, you can camp there. I believe they even have hookups for electric and water.

I've always used regular 10w30 oil without an issue. That's what the manual says to use.

2 weeks away. My Banshee will definitely not be there but I will be there on the Wife's 450. Sucks but not much I can do. Had to start my 4mil build sooner or later...
