  1. so i take it there not worth it so... what kind of needles do the use because ive heard people saying that the needle removed a flat spot and others say the didnt need the needles from toomey. so should i just get 270-320 jets and do some plug chops. and on to the pilot, since im changing the airflow out of the engine shouldnt i compensate for the increased flow, by riching all the jet areas pilot, needle, main?

  3. Is the Toomey jet kit worth buying for a t4 pipe? is it better than just picking up the jets at the dealership? What kind of needles do they come with? Also would it be a good thing to use 27.5 pilots?

  7. Don't reuse the head gasket, and use wiesco pistons. Also do a leakdown test after your finished, if you don't know what that is search it.

  10. anybody have any of this stuff? looking for a new set of reeds and a billet case saver, key switch, and a lugnut, also if someone has a new clutch kit.

  12. are your carbs synced? same jets in each side?
  13. first take off the stator cover and get a 32mm socket and a 14mm socket and a standard screw driver, then pry the tabs on the lock washers down then use the 32mm socket and ratchet/impact wrench to take the front sprocket off, then use the 14mm socket with ratchet to get the rear sprocket off.

  16. try a 270 main, but the best way to figure out jetting is to do plug chops, but id start with a 270 then do a plug chop and adjust as needed.

  19. im having somewhat the same problem, it takes like 10 or so kicks to start when its cold like sitting for a few hours, but once its started and warmed up itll star in 1 kick, ive found out that one reed on the cage is leaking. theres no airleaks and the compresion is little over 120 on each side
  20. Most after market manifolds don't even have those holes, but you could go to a hardware store and get some plugs and put jb weld around them to block it off, but make sure it doesnt leak

  22. you might be running lean on your pilots, does it seem to cut out? also theres usally a dead spot before the pipe comes on before the powerband, if the dead spot is in the midlle throttle position ou could try lowing your needle a clip.
