  1. X2 on the reeds. That is what I was giong to say. Either that, or check the timing or any factors that would relate to timing. let us know
  2. Ok, this all makes more since now. 90bansheedude clerified everything pretty good. I was just wanting to learn more about how to properly attempt to paint plastics and make it look good.
  3. BUMP for a great seller. Tim is a good guy to do business with.
  4. What and the world are you talking about? "Everything finally came in so I can finish the stance"?? So you ordered new a-arms? Extended swing arm? Aftermarket suspension? I don't have a clue where your trying to go with what you posted. I assume your asking how to put a chain on your bike? If that is the case, and you have stock suspension all you need is a factory length chain with the suspension relaxed and sitting just like it would regularly. Then adjust the tension by sliding the bearing carrier forwards or backwards-- IF -- You are dealing with stock parts. I have no idea, maybe someone else does....
  5. Someone with pichers got tham<-------- WTF??? kind of semi-english speaking shit is that? Thank God some one bought these damn things
  6. That's one nasty looking motor. Gotta love carnage though lol Sucks to be that guy...
  7. X2 on Stellar machine. I've spoke with Tim about purchasing a +4 swinger here in the near future. He is a stand up guy and builds quality stuff. Great guy to do business with.
  8. Sorry I didn't want to repost all of the pics, but I had more than one question about this post. Phelps, the "grit type hand cleaner soap" that you mention, are you talking about like Gojo or something not as gritty? Also is the rubbing alcohol that someone could purchase from walmart work as good as the m103 remover? I'm wanting to get this in steps, so you use a spray adhesive first before you paint anything? I have never heard of such a thing, but i'm not in automotive collision repair either, and have never painted plastics. Then you use sealer, base and then clear it? I would think a guy would paint, seal, then clear? What is the difference between sealer, and clear? Isn't that along the lines of the same thing? I apologize for the dumb questions, but the only questions that are dumb are the ones that you never ask so... I asked lol. I'm just curious on how to do this properly, I wouldn't mind to give this a shot on my stock plastics once I order my new ones. Oh, one more question, I also have the factory blue plastic. Will it matter if I want to dramatically change the color, like going from blue to black? OR Blue to red. Somthing like that? Any good input is welcome, I would like to see and learn more on this. Thanks
  9. PayPal sent. Thanks for your help Tim, I appreciate it. Will let you know when it shows up.
  10. I'll be the first one to tell ya. you've got a nice bike hands down. I like it and in no way am I bashing it. You have a lot of aftermarket parts on it that ALOT of other people do to though. If you are dead nuts serious on getting rid of it, I would advise you to part it out. You would get alot closer to "your" price going that route, than trying to sell it whole. And yeah I've got family and friends that live in O.P. so I know what SOME!! of the peoples mentality is up there. Good luck with your sell my friend.
  11. After seeing that he is from Overland Park, Ks I now know why he wants $1,000,000 for his quad.... The guys right man. Your out of your freakin mind if you think your four wheeler is gonna pull that kind of cash. Forget you live in O.P. and come to a more realistic price.
  12. That's bad to the bone right there!! Nice job Jeff, freakin sick!
  13. Good luck to you and your family. I hope you have a fast and speedy recovery, God bless
  14. Ya think? Until this past sat. I never got a response back from the guy. So I didn't know what he was dead set on doing. In his title that states "For sale, trade, OR PART OUT" Those are a more than a single decision.
  15. I've sent you a P.M. with no response thus far. Are you trying to sell the bike out right before you part it out? A response would be cool, let me know......
  16. A Clymer Manual will answer most every question you can think of.
  17. Good looking bike man, that blows you have to get rid of it. I'm sure it took more than $3500 to do complete the rebuild though. If you don't mind me asking, who makes that stator cover? I like it! Good luck with the sale
  18. Need to make sure you have her jetted right and also NO air leaks since you had the top-end apart.
  19. I've got pods and I really like them. I think it's the best way to go. I like the easibility of taking them on and off to check my slides, like stated above. My only complaint is that they wobble off. I'm just using hose clamps right now, does anyone have any other suggestions? What is everyone else using to secure your pods to the carbs?
  20. Cam work.... BAHAHAHAHA!!!! That kind of stuff just makes my day THAT much better. Love it
