I had something similar to the issure that your experienceing when I first picked up my bike but I came to find that I had more problems that I was aware of. Before my bike took a shit I ordered a dyna-jet Jet Kit that came with different needles. I spoke with a shop in Tulsa (not passion FYI) that suggested that I pick up that jet kit up because it had longer needles and a small veriety of jets that I needed because I was running a stock cyl, stock port with FMF's and pods.
I live in east central Oklahoma elev.660ish and I put those new needles in and stepped up to a 330 main and BAM! The bitch ran great until I came across another problem that led me to tear the entire motor down. I don't know if this will help you but that is what I experienced with my setup. Good luck
