  2. He gave you a rough idea on how to start. If you honestly cant brainstorm some possibilities after getting engine in, and seeing what needs done , then you're probably better off getting a fabricator to look at it...

  4. Without riding it, you'll need to see the trans to identify if it's an overide. Not insulting you, but sounds like your best option would be to have someone with a clue on these race motors go thru it. Theyll know what to look for. And I assure you the small labor fee you'll pay, will be far less than what's gonna happen to it.
  5. Are you wanting to drag race it ? Best thing to do is tear it down and go through it, so you know it's all good before it grenading at WOT , causing alot more damage. Looks like it's got good parts , shouldnt need much. Any info on who built it ? And what/where is it leaking
  6. To know for sure you'll need to check stroke and bore size. Probably what you were told is right.
  7. Post closer up pics of engine. Looks like a CP cyl to me. If u can get a bore scope, you can check top of piston to see what size it is, and also measure the stroke with caliper, gotta remove tank.

  24. You need to figure out what your port timings are on cylinders. Compression. Timing. Etc. Multiple pipes that work good for drag. Shearer,cpi,led. Where will you be racing ? Dirt /sand track , dunes, hill, ?
  25. So did someone with a clue do a drag port on the cyls? Not knowing any specifics on the motor setup is hard to tell what you'll need. Strictly drags, you might as well run alcohol. 35-39mm alky Carbs, intakes, filters, used will run 300-600. You'll need better pipes, about 300-500 used. Post pics of bike so we can see what'll need changed chassis wise.
