  1. Green/yellow is the park brake rev limiter. Cut it at the CDI end of the harness and make sure it doesn't short to ground. 02-06 schematic is on page 378 in the Clymer.
  2. Grab bar, tail light, and silencers are not level. The things been flipped hard.
  3. Rear of frame looks bent. Right side is higher than the left.
  4. Glenyboy is a BHQer on here that is in Essex. PM him. Maybe he can help you out or tell you where to go over there.
  5. WOW!!!!!! With a stable like that, you are hardly JUST an "asphalt guy". Welcome. You have my respect and admiration. I'm sure you already know about Two Stroke Shop in Australia. In case you don't here's their site. They're real big into putting the Banshee based motor into the RS250. http://www.twostrokeshop.com/ Here's one of our fellow BHQers that put a 535 in a Suzuki. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=112692&st=0&p=982217
  6. Great guy to deal with. I bought a RZ350 stator and flywheel, and a pair of K&N filters from him. Nice parts, great price and shipped super fast. Thanks.
  7. If he has a properly signed off title, it's reasonably clean, frame not bent, plastics not all beat up, and you can feel compression when you kick it over, at $1,000 I would buy it. If it looks like this, walk away. http://portland.craigslist.org/clc/mcy/2359406362.html
  8. Because if you have the parking brake on there, and you go over the bars, the metal hook thingy will rip your nut sack open.
  9. From what little can be seen in the pic, the parking brake has been removed, and there's a Toomey sticker on the radiator cover. So, it's a fairly safe bet that it has Toomey pipes on it. Those are 2 of the very first things that need to be done to a Banshee. Maybe there's other aftermarket goodies on it, besides the Uni filters. So, yeah, snag that and get her washed up. After you have it in your possession, ask him if he has a title. It's always best to register bikes in your name, even if your state doesn't require it. If it's registered in his name, but he lost the title, it's easy for him to apply for a lost title.
  10. PM sent on the RZ350 stator and flywheel.
  11. American Star is a bunch of crooks and you may, or may not get your parts. I did eventually get a refund for the parts they didn't ship, but I had to file a paypal dispute.
  12. A few rears ago, the real Miss Budweiser hydro was for sale on ebay in the Bahamas. No jet, transmission, or electronics. I don't remember the price, but it was several hundred thousand. I thought, wouldn't it be cool to put a big block chevy motor in it with really quiet exhaust, and a massive stereo system that would play jet engine sounds, and then just cruise around.

I've got one I can send you. Too bad I didn't know before. I could have sent it with the rubber plugs. LOL. I'll send it out tomorrow. I still have your address.

  18. Pressure test the motor BEFORE you take it apart. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=110585
  19. It's a stock Blaster frame. I'll have some of what he's smokin'.
  20. I tend to think that this guys ebay account was hijacked. He used to list stuff all the time. Thailand copies of Keihins, listed as genuine, cheap shocks, etc. All his auctions looked similar. He did have fairly good feedback. Then there was a auction for a NICE Banshee. Here it is. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200577138205&viewitem= Nice pics. Very different looking auction. Listed bike location as Alaska, even though ebay user location was listed as California. Had a buy it now price that was cheap, and listed free shipping anywhere in the US. Nobody fell for it, and there haven't been any auctions listed since. I could be wrong, since it seems like there must be some way for him to make good on his previous auctions. But, who knows.
  21. Here's the best place to get them. I'm sure you can find other goodies that you "need" while you're looking around their site. http://67.199.65.66/cascade_innovations/newlook/store/store_View.cfm?STORE_AREA_ID=29&store_dept_id=407
