  1. Here they are. If you want to do this, I will ship you the 35s and after you receive them, ship me the 33s. I can ship them out Priority mail with tracking tomorrow from Oregon
  2. If you're planning on selling it, you probably should do a patent search too. Scroll down to "objects of the invention" http://patents.justia.com/1994/RE034803.html You don't want to end up like Polaris and be $57,000,000 poorer. http://www.niroip.com/document.php?Id=57
  3. Do you want to trade straight across for a pair of brand new, never had fuel in them, 35 PWK air strikers?
  4. This is the best I can do for now. EFI was a failure without an o2 sensor. Would never run consistent. Moved on to Alcohol and nitrous. oops! major problems. It hasn't run for very many years. Needs 2 new cranks, and probably 4 new pistons. I had hoped to have it back up and running by now, but I keep buying more Banshees. I'm up to 4 now.
  5. Cause I went up to Canada, eh, and brought back a RZ500 motor, eh. 500cc V4 2 stroke, eh.
  6. Here is how I ran the exhaust on my street bike conversion, but I don't know anything about 4 strokes.
  7. I have no idea of your fabrication, electrical understanding, or wiring skills, but if you can't diagnose a problem with a simple Banshee motor, you have no business trying to swap in a fuel injected street bike motor. Just because you can get it in the frame and get the chain to line up, doesn't mean it will ever run. Do have any experience with fuel injection?
  8. Rock the size of a peanut? Were you riding it without filters on a gravel road? How many smaller rocks did make it through the reeds?
  9. 1 more vote for Cameron. Workmanship and customer service after the build, are top notch. A few more small things that are worth mentioning. All pretty cheap while you're in there. Advance timing 4 degrees Replace water pump bearing, seal, and gear Install pancake bearing Mod shift star Mod shift shaft Shift Pro with stock spring http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=111980 Block off front clutch cover vent. You don't need it and the block off plate is $8 Install case saver. I prefer the TM designworks one If you still have money left over Cut every other dog off the tranny gears TORS delete the carbs
  10. I have a set of Gary Denton +2 +1 upper J arms, lower A arms, and tie rods. $225 total shipped price. Let me know if your interested. I can post pics tomorrow.
  11. Put the meter on about 200 ohm scale. Make sure the leads are in the holes for checking ohms. Go to this link and the specs are right below the wiring diagram. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=133650
  12. It's definitely not going to run with the charging coil shorted to ground. It ran for a little bit until the flywheel rubbed through the insulation and shorted the red wire to ground. When you ohmed it, you probably didn't ohm it from the charging coil to ground. Fix the red wire and I bet it fires right up.
  13. 29s should be a 28mm PWK. http://www.sudco.com/pwk.html It should look like this, with 2 screws holding the cap on top. This pic also gives the outside dimensions. http://www.sudco.com/CatalogJPG/046.jpg
  14. Crankcase vent hose. 1 hose goes to the plastic elbow at the back of the cases. The other goes behind the waterpump cover. You can eliminate the one behind the waterpump cover. It's not needed.
  15. So, last Saturday, I have a leaking bead due to a flip over and getting sand in the bead. I'm sitting there in my trailer trying to figure out what I could use for the drive up the board trick that I have heard people doing. hhhmmmmm... What could I use for a ramp? Ramp... hhhmmm... ramp door on the trailer? I look at the edge of the ramp. 1/8" steel flat bar. That should be strong enough, right? So, I lay a towel on the asphalt, lay the wheel down on the towel with the ramp edge just about touching the rim, 1 or 2 pounds of air in the tire. I tell my girl, "c'mon, lets jump on the ramp". She looks at me like I've got a screw loose. Together we flex our legs, shifting our weight up and down, and WOOOOSH! it popped the bead loose. We stepped off the ramp and looked at the tire in disbelief. It worked!!!!! Wiped the sand out of the bead, smeared some hand soap on the bead, used my co2 tank to reseat the tire, bolt it back on and ride. Now I'm REALLY glad I bought a ramp door trailer.
  16. Yes. Stock ratio is 2.86. For 1/8 and 1/4 asphalt drags people use 2.68 for higher top end.
  17. 59 divided by 22 = 2.68 ratio. Asphalt drag gears.

    Wide Grab Bar

I have that one on a Blaster and it's nice to grab onto and lift. I have this one on a Shee and it's less "fat" looking. http://prm-atv.com/MN.asp?pg=products&specific=344&from=57 It's not quite as nice on your hands, but it looks better. You will like either one of them. It feels real natural to lift with your hands that far apart. PRM is a great company to buy from.
  19. I think it's probably that titanium is such a bitch to machine that rather than start with thick wall tubing and boring it out, they just used 3 1/4" ID titanium tubing and made a bearing carrier to match. If no one here has one for sale, I'll see how much Lonestar wants for one. I could always machine one down to 3.250 or machine a whole new one out of magnesium.
  20. I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have a roundhouse carrier for a Lonestar titanium swingarm with a 35mm axle? The carrier is different than all the other carriers. It needs to measure 3.250" OD. All the common carriers measure 3.410" OD.
  21. Yeah, I know. I just bought the whole Marvin Shaw refill system for the shocks.
  22. Thanks for the help. I went to the welding supply place and they stock 20, 40, 92... I decided 92 was overkill (and $185), so I settled for the 40 at $115. I already have a couple of 5 lb aluminum co2 tanks with regulators that I use for airing up tires and stuff. You can air up a LOT of tires with 5 lbs of co2.
  23. So how big is small? 20 cubic ft? I think 20 is the size people use for guineas stout.
  24. What is a good average size tank for home use? I don't want to get one that's so small that I fill 4 shaws and it's empty, but I also don't want to pay for a tank that will fill 500 shocks.
  25. You get an A for creativity, but a C for engineering. The motor is mounted to the swingarm!!! Mount the motor solid and run an idler shaft in line with the swingarm pivot. You can also do a ratio change on the idler. With the gearing you have now, it's going to go way too fast to be safe.
