  1. I'll get you a measurement in just a few.
  2. So..been doing some wish list browsing and came across this: http://www.thompsonmachine.net/?page_id=14 If I plan on getting a bull barrel , what would be the pro's and cons of a suppressed one?
  3. Haha. Someone spending 6k+ on an engine probably couldn't care less the results from testing a Serval. They've already moved to bigger and more expensive setups.
  4. Cool. I'll check it out.
  5. Thanks for the info. Those stocks are sweet! On the to do list now. I've disassembled my Marlin a couple times without issue, but I've never taken the trigger mechanism apart. Breaking down the Ruger shouldn't be an issue. ..it's the trigger mechanism is what I don't want to get into. Academy has the base model for 199.00..When they get them in. You just never know though. This is the marlin I have. I put a nice scope mount on it and a Simmons .22 mag 3-9×32 scope on it. The little gun is pretty accurate for me. The trigger is holding me back a touch though. I still want to find that Ruger though, as I had one before and really liked it..plus the aftermarket support is tremendous compared to the Marlin.
  6. Haha. I already have a marlin 22lr for plinking.
  7. Cool. Definitely starting with a trigger job.....now to find the actual gun...
  8. Seems a little out of place for target practice and light game..
  9. I snagged several boxes not too long ago, so I'm good for a bit . haha
  10. I would forsee an ER visit duning a strut.
  11. I was looking at these folks. Any good? http://brimstonegunsmithing.com/products/tier-3-basic-ruger-1022-trigger-work
  12. I have no clue how to disassemble a rifle. Is it something any gunsmith can do? Or better to send it to someone that specializes in them?
  13. That's interesting. I've never tried duning with a strut...how'd it work for you?
  14. Thanks. I'd likely start with something more basic like a trigger mod...If that helps at all? The barrel and stock sounds like something I'd tackle later on, but it's on the list. Is that order of mods a good plan? Thanks
  15. Have you tried duning it with a shock at that angle?
  16. It's been a while since I've owned a ruger 10/22 and I'd like to get another. 1st of all, I've had a hard time even finding one new. Academy can't tell me when they're getting any, but they seem to have the best price. (199.00) for the entry model. Any other places to look? My local gun dealers only have 1 of the ones with the rinky dink lazers and I don't like that. 2nd. What are the best " bang for the buck" mods to improve accuracy without getting crazy with the mods? Thanks
  17. I have a pc'd black spring, with polished ressy. Rebuilt by SoCal suspension. PM me if interested.
  18. Yea. Just a plain Jane 115 rod crank works forged.
  19. I guess I typed that wrong. Didn't mean you were low balling. I was basically wondering what you were expecting for 250-300.00. I have a use able top end if you are wanting something cheap just to slap together and run for a couple seasons.
  20. Auto correct. ..21x7x10
  21. I have a set of single buffs in 2 17-14 I'd let go of for 90.00 shipped. They are in perfect shape.
  22. What's the theory behind that rear shock mounting angle?
  23. Dang man..how cheap are you trying to get stuff? I have stock stroke trail ported cyls with wiseco pistons. If you buy those, I'll buy the cub cyls.
