  1. Yes there is. There's also a thing calld the real world where both intakes have been dyno'd and one made more power than the other. .. I wouldnt go a out and buy new intakes for the money difference..but if I had to buy intakes anyway. .it wouldnt be the blingy ones. But to each their own.
  2. Which equals more power . But unfortunately they aren't blingy or "fast" looking.
  3. Sweet ..go buy another and please provide us with carnage pictures .
  4. Man...just a good 10mm crank costs 1000- 1200.00. You know that right? Im not talking about those cheap wank/ ebay cranks people try to price match either.
  5. Yea..something is funky. Did you check and make sure the silencer core isn't collapsed or stopped up?
  6. Haha. I see what you did there.
  7. Thats where I'd bet the problem might be. Keep us posted.
  8. Eh. We run SB CPI in the dunes all day without heat issues on a 421. Several guys run them on 421 cubs here without issues as well. I dont know the parameters of their head designs though.
  9. ^^^^ wasting time. Haha
  10. haha. Yea nothing sucks worse than running out of fuel. Except blowing a motor I guess.
  11. It is 130octane at what the aviation industry calls a " rich" setting. But remember its NOT a replacement for race fuel if your motor needs it. Its more of a more consistent ,higher octane option when pump wont do it. IMO.
  12. No. Sorry for confusion. I meant Srp/Passion did some racing at the last HQ ride...not that they raced Shearer specifically. Just that they raced in general.
  13. Actually if you do some research you'll see that he wasn't wrong. You need to educate yourself on how the fuel is rated and he should have been a little more specific on what he ment.
  14. For real! This is some great chain ( 7800lb tensile strength) and finding it in 160link length is no small feat. I run RK 520MXZ4 on 3 bikes or I would buy this in a heartbeat. ( like to keep them all the same) this is a good deal for someone who needs a long HD chain.
  15. If you really want it to stick and perform at its best, you pretty much need to completely tear it down ,throughly de-grease it, blast the cases, then wipe with acetone. Then that paint will stick great. Let it cure according to the label and you're good to go.
  16. Pretty much this^^ a good durable finish requires great prep.
  17. Still adding nothing to the forum?? Good lord...
  18. How long of a swinger will 160links fit anyway? Assuming 15-40-ish gearing.
  19. Cheetah vs Cub is one of thosr situations where having the bigger motor wont guarantee you a win. In 300' drags anyway.
  20. They raced at the last BHQ ride a couple months ago in LS.
  21. Same here. Id have any of those 3 do an engine for me.
  22. Wont happen. He strikes me as the type that gets caught up in minutia that you find prevalent on certain 2T websites but looses sight of the bigger picture. They also dwell on whats "wrong" with what others are doing but can't tell you how to do any better...at least in real world situations.
  23. I agree with part/ most of what you are saying... but i wouldn't go so far as to say stock cyls eat cubs MOST of the time. Unless you are saying that when a stock cyl DOES eat a cub its due to setup ,,most of the time. Or are you saying stock cyls eat cubs most of the time? Not trying to bust your balls, just trying to get a clear understanding of what you mean, so the OP can get the best advise.
  24. It's going to take just about the same amount of prep either way to do it right. So if you like the blast look you might as well do that.
  25. Unless you need more than 4* advance, just mod the stock one. There's a how to write up on here.
