Stock carbs will work just fine for that combo. The question you need to ask is "do i want to spend 350.00 for carbs +100.00 for intakes for easier tuning and a touch more HP/TQ"? The PWK is a better carb,but on something as mild as that setup,you arent looking at adding tons of power,,its more of a convenience. Of course thats assuming that your stock carbs are good. If they are shot,then try some Keihin PWKS. IMO

Bump to the top. Would consider some partial trade for a +12 swinger or alky carbs. But cash is preferred.

If ...>>>IF<< thats the compression that K&T wants it to run at,then go with what they suggest,NOT what some anonymous member on here THINKS your compression should be. That being said,why not call K&T and see IF thats what they want you to run compression wise. Also,if it is the seal thats out,you DO have to tear down the engine to replace it.

After hunting JDS Customs down @ the BHQ/LS ride, i asked him to make me a Lockup Clutch Cover for my Mattoon Lockup. It was a pleasure doing business with him and the product is VERY well made. He had no problem listening to what i wanted and producing it in a timely manner. I told him i didnt want anything "blingy" since all my stuff is either black or brushed alum,not chrome or polished...wanted it kind of "industrial" looking. Id highly suggest if you want something custom made,to call JDS! You WILL recieve a well made product. Thanks! Also a big thanks to Cam @ Redline Racing ( even though he's gay) for sendin JDS a Mattoon Cover to get his measurements off of instead of relying on mine. Here's what he came up with>
