What if you need cylinders? Or your current ones are on the last bore? When you add porting,boring,and purchasing another set of stockers,you are within a few bucks of a Cub setup.

you have a straight cut water-pump drive gear??

id be carefull when using the full clip. make sure you do a "dry fit" (which you should do anyway) if using the full clip, and make sure no binding takes place. I had that happen to me and had to go back to the factory half clip.

I think what you are seeing,is people becoming addicted to power and realizing they want MORE of it. Not a bad thing for this sport. What the Serval has over a stock cyl,si that once that addiction kicks in,you have somewhere to go with the cyls...not so with "all out ported" stockers. Yes , a GOOD ,and i mean a GOOD set of ported stockers is right there with a pump gas Serval,but when you want more,the serval can be ported and still retain a "trail/dune" friendly power band. If you go more wild with the stock cyls,,you start playing the trading game. ( less bottom for more top,than race gas to compensate ,etc,etc). This is what i PERSONALLY have seen and experienced, by actually OWNING both and going though the stages mentioned. BTW, sorry Airtractor for cluttering up your FS thread. Just dont want anyone to be scared away from your sale.

Call Fullerton Sand tires and check prices and see what they cost new. a steal at 250.00 plus ship per set the NON-drag cut wheel set are the ones i let Dozer borrow at the BHQ L.S. ride for a few passes (thankfully he took them off BEFORE he wrecked ) . Maybe he will chime in on his thoughts about how they hooked compared to 10 paddle extremes. Edit: i noticed one set of wheels are rock brand ,not douglas.

i use a worm drive ,NARROW band hose clamp. they have a smoothed/rolled edge version that wont cut the boots ( similar to the factory ones). Try Mcmaster carr. that where i get mine.
