Im going to guess that if you arent lean ( for any reason) jetting or air leak, that its your slides sticking. Try actuating the throttle a lot (with engine off of course) and see if either one tries to hang on you.

He mentioned something ( in the shearer thread?) about testing a product that will be released in a few months to dealers,and you just mentioned someone you knew that was testing them. And didnt i read in your dyno thread that Windy helped you dyno tune your newly rebuilt Cheetah? Maybe im just putting too many random facts and coincidences together?? ...... not that it matters anyway. I hope thet work out even SOMEWHAT close to advertized...a couple more HP is cool with me.

You are right. Im sure Mattoon can sell them at the same time. Id be happy to adjust the price for the extra cost of the bolts, no prob. good looking out. I believe they are a 5/16" tapered head bolt,but it'd be easier to just get them from Mattoon since you'll have to get the backing plate and cushions there anyway.

I have a used Mattoon billet basket for sale. Its JUST the BASKET...not the backing plate and cushions. You can get them from Mattoon direct for 45.00 shipped. So you can have a 7/8 plate mattoon basket for $95.00 after you buy the new backing plate and cushions. They sell for $150.00 on ebay. I forgot to mention in my reply to this offer than I will be paying for the dyno time @ Sandtraxx. We were planning on going anyway and we have CPI's & Inframe Shearers to try. This is on a 421 and on a Redline 4mm Stock cyl. If Colby is generous enough to supply the pipes and Video Cam,the least i can do is pay for dyno time and testing that i was going to do anyway. From what i've heard Sandtraxx is one of the best / truest dynos in that part of Oklahoma,plus i hear the owner is great at tuning. I think thats the dyno that Passion uses too.

I might be able to work something out with you. I was planning on making a trip to SandTraxx in Tulsa with my dads 4mm Stock cyl and my 421 for some dyno tuning and playing around. PM me if you'd like to work something out.

What kind of goodies are bolted to the engine to achieve that kind of performance? will be in touch shortly Cam to get the ball rolling on that 10 Cub BTW.

So,,is it one of these 3 things ??: 1. The market for performance Banshee engines isnt what it used to be,and just like the economy in general, builders are hesitant to try and invest in new ideas and technology ? For fear of wasting precious time and money that they no longer have the luxury of wasting? 2. They HAVE tried the new pipes,DID the R&D, and found them as a minor improvement at best ,and not worth it? 3. They HAVE NOT tried them for fear of some "repercussions" from certain "players" in the aftermarket Banshee world?

Thats a very generous offer for sure.... my question is ,why dosent the builder/designer/marketer of the pipes , just provide a set to a few different neutral sources,or builders with dynos to try and test ? I dont see why any builder would pass on the opportunity to provide their customers with the gains that the Snipers have advertized. If they indeed DO perform as advertized , any builder would be crazy to pass on an extra 10+ HP on their engine packages. That would be a HUGE selling point. I guess im a skeptic,but whats the hold up? Something isn't adding up to me.....

Thosr appear to be 34PJ's not 35's..if im wrong i apologize ,but if they are PJ's , they'd be a cheaper carb than the 35's ,,when it comes to selling them used. Not saying they arent good carbs,they just dont have the resale of a 35PWK.
