  7. Got my junk into a full roller yesterday,so all i have left is getting the engine together. Looks like we will make it. May not have plastics or be tuned,but looks like itll be under its own power. haha Anyone bringing a fresh barrel of Alky that they would liketo sell a few gallons out of,or do i need to bring one?

  9. I like those plastics. The graphics remind me of when stuff like that was "RAD". ! Tee shirt under a lightweight suit coat and pushed up sleeves.

  11. I agree 100% with this ^^^ When we put bigger carbs on it it perked up considerably. I bet at that point the airbox would have started to choke it down some. They are the worst to deal with when jetting. although one you remove all the excess , you can pop them off pretty quick...but you still have those boots to deal with. haha
  12. Yep , i have one. plus whatever other stock parts you might need. PM me if you are interested. You can tell this one is NOT bent because the paint isnt chipped or flaking anywhere. If you find one and the paint is flaking around the area where the ball joint meets the A Arm,,chances are its tweaked. thanks for the shout out Banshee SE
  13. Actually I DID dyno it both ways. There was less than 1hp between the two. Mind you this was a stock carbed bike,so it had the STD clamp on pods for stock carbs,,not the larger style you get with larger carbs.
  14. I applaud your effort! Done it myself a few times. the problem is,you skipped the part were the majority of the power is found. So now you are back to more $$ for PROPER tooling. Its just simple time VS money for me. But hey , its a hobby,,,we all do it for the fun of it!
  15. this^^^^ I ran a Pro Flow and highly cut box on a 75hp 4mm stock cyl.. so i know its good up to that much without losing HP.

  17. Thats cool. Like i said, ive been there and done that. For me, even IF i could do a PAIR of Banshee cyls on 10 hrs ( took me longer than that to get everything ,changing transfer angles, re-doing the boost port etc) it was still CHEAPER for me to send it out,because i could have been making 50.00hr working, while i was trying to save 25.00 an hr. Then you add up the time to machine your head (which you must do for optimum results) not just shave it btw. So after doing the math it was actually COSTING me money to DIY. But, if you just enjoy doing it, i understand,its a hobby...just dont think for one minute its "saving you money" to DIY.
  18. IDK man, I talked to Cory ( the guy who designed them) awhile back ,and he said they were +2 +1. Might need to do some more investigation. I know Alba used to have some non Gull Wing style (non LT as well) that where not +1 up. When they came out with these LT convertible ones awhile back ,they were advertized as +2+1.
  19. I have someone port my engines because its too time consuming to do it myself and too expensive to DIY (if i buy the PROPER tooling,,aka NOT dremels). Add to that,the fact that even if i got it close to what someone who does it full time can do, im still leaving some power/ride-ability on the table..plus Ive spent a lot ,,i mean a lot of time (to do it right) on something, for less than what i could have had. So i just came to the conclusion that its better for me time-wise and power-wise and money-wise to pay someone qualified to do what they know best,,just like people hire my business to do work for them. I guess its just easier/quicker for me to make the 250-450.00 to pay someone,than waste 25hrs of my time.

  22. Wrong. they ARE +2 wide and +1forward. If he has the Gull Wing style,,which it sounds like he does since they are LT convertible. Edit = Just looked at the pix,,they ARE +1" up. so the OP has his info correct.
