  1. So I went out to the garage and I took a look at the label on my Honda HP Trans Oil . It's what I have always used and it says it has anti friction additives , designed to reduce clutch slippage and anti foaming and gear filming ( I assume that means to coat better ) yadda yadda yadda . Anyone have experience with it? Any problems? It always worked great in the blaster . I plan on doing a oil change before hitting dunefest so I might try the klotz instead if It's available .
  2. I have always heard to avoid any trans fluid for wet clutches that have friction modifiers , any advice over here on that?
  3. If you go to the uni filter site , they list all of their universal pod filters by size . Measure the inlet ( outside diameter ) of your carb , and find it on uni's site . Just match up the part number and you are good to go.
  4. X2 on the jetting and ditch those K&N's for. Pair of UNI filters and outerwears , they will protect your motor far better than that paper crap .
  5. I'm on the WD-40 side of the fence , I spray my chain with it at the beginning of the riding day and at the end of the day . Never once had a problem .
  6. I saw a Yamaha Bobber on the freeway a few weeks ago , as it flew past I could see it had a banshee motor and what looked like FMF pipes on it , it was nice , I wish I could have got a picture of it .
  7. Nick , you bring up a good point , I take back all the times I called you a thief . I still think you're a D-Bag , but a thief no . I was under the assumption that you were giving out info ( To me that's stealing ) that the person didn't want you to . So again , I recind the allegations you ever stole anything , and I don't care for the Drama so I'll gladly avoid it . I'm here to learn about my bike and maybe help others when I can . Peace
  8. UNI FTW!!!! There's no better motor protection than a UNI and a Outerwears wrapped around it . K&N is inferior to the all mighty UNI!!!!!
  9. Let me ask you a serious , respectfull question . If someone you consider a friend , asks you to keep something to you and not tell others because it's something they use to make extra money , would you turn around and stab them in the back? Nick is the worst kind of thief , and liar and I'm done with this post .
  10. OK , So Nick AKA Zilla/Dumbshit/Trollscroat whatever you wanna call his sorry rat ass is a thief , and a liar and shouldn't be trusted by anyone , I know this because over at Blasterforum , when I first got my shee , He PM'd me with some information that his " so called " friend trusted him not to share with anybody , so It started this Days of our lives shit over at PSJ and It all started over a 2-1 intake manifold from a Yamaha Exciter Snowmobile motor . The very 2-1 he probably still runs to this day and that His " friend " gave him the info on how to mod it to work . Dickless's buddy told Nick not to say shit to anyone because he makes money off these and really wanted to keep his hard work and fab skills private ( I don't blame him ) . So Trollscroat , I wouldn't trust you with a bag of cat shit , and nobody here should either . There's a reason he was banned from Blasterforum , probably the same reason he'll get kicked off here one day too ... He doesn't know when to shut his man pleaser .
  11. To the Original Poster , I apologize for the welcome ( lack there of ) from the peanut gallery . Username " Dumbshit " is a low life that goes by " Zillafreak " or as I call him " Trollscroat " . Don't pay him an ounce of attention or any money because he's a thief and a generally poor excuse for really anything at all . I ride , mostly dunes and on the street ( My state just passed a street legal ATV law ) and about the only thing I'd change about my shee is electric start , sometimes kickin that bastard over when the sciatic is pinging makes me just wanna go back to the camp chair and sit by the fire. Welcome to the HQ!!!! There are GREAT people here , and as you have seen , a basket of fucktards as well ...
  12. If your frame still has the stock brackets for the headlights , I make mounts that bolt in the stock location and allow you to mount up a set of lights to it . PM me for more info or check my for sale ad .
  13. Thanks for the jugs!!!
  14. These mounts are made to fit your stock frame location , and allow you to mount your choice of lights to them . They are tapped 1/4-20 and the ones you will receive will come with SS socket cap screws for the fasteners . Made from solid aluminum and cut to fit the stock frame mounts . You will have to drill out the stock frame mount threads to fit the 1/4" screw . $18.00 Shipped .
  15. I'm on BF and to the OP , If you are just Trolling from BF , knock it the fuck off grow up and give it a fucking rest !!!!!!!! If not , it sounds like a great project , good luck with it ...
  16. Well , My bike will be down longer than expected , my cylinders and head need machine work and it's gonna be to the tune of 580.00 . No biggie , just money but puts a hold on riding for a bit longer . I'm thinking about getting that relocator bracket for the CDI , Reg and Coolant bottle . I was reading that it attaches with self tapping screws into the frame? I don't want to weaken the frame , It appears where it mounts that it doesn't look like it would compromise anything . Anyone run one? I'd also like to run the tail light wires inside the frame tubing . Anyone do this ?
  17. My daughter got in her goody bag from the last b day party she went to , a set of those plastic lips that when you breathe in it spins a little fan and it makes a high pitched turbine kind of sound , dude .....45 bucks and it's yours , shipped even ....
  18. The mount? Or the lights? . The mount is solid aluminum , strong and light weight. The lights are good , I had them on my blaster as well , and Never had any complaints .
  19. I run a 2-1 Intake with a 33 pwk , and I love it . Simple to maintain . Yeah you sacrifice top end , but I ride the Dunes and Trails and it suffers no where . If I were you I'd keep the 2-1 . I also have a Motofast 2-1 pipe , and It's perfect for where I ride , it has a nice low to mid range powerband , It falls off on the top end a bit , but I like that low to mid range power , makes it kinda 4 strokey , more predictable I guess you could say.
  20. I have the Wally lights too , you have to go to the house lighting section and buy the 35 watt bulbs , the 55 watt ones that come with them won't work . Here is a picture of mine , I made the mounts myself , so they mount in the stock location . I can make you a set for 25.00 , They are made from solid aluminum bar , drilled and tapped using 1/4-20 threads . If you let me know ASAP I could make a set and have them to you by Friday . Price includes material , time , and shipping .
  21. Thanks , Found it on bluetraxx!!!! See ya in the sand !!!!!
  22. As soon as I saw the pattern I thought of Eddie VH!!!! FTW!!!!!! Stick with it !!!!
  23. PM sent on stock bore/stroke cylinders
  24. So I need to set up my tie rods , I bought new ends and I need to get them adjusted correctly. I ride trails and dunes . Should they be adjusted to the same distance from center front and back , or should they be toe'd in or out and by how much? Kinda a newb at it. Any help is appreciated
  25. I'll take a look at the Schematic as well . As far as the key switch , will the diagram give me any clues if just disconnecting the key switch will allow the bike to run ? I apologize for the confusion .
