  2. Call Vegas Jeff , he is a site sponsor and will fix you up right!
  3. You should of talked to Jeff @ VJ'S .
  4. Shipped mine (complete motor) from central Mo, $75 to San Diego CA to HJR. I don't mean to sound like a dick but, if the shipping is going to make or break the build you want to do then ???????????
  5. Go to Rockymountain Atv, yamaha oem parts, $2.82 each.
  6. +2+1 a arms are going to make you more stable for sure I've got two sets of asr's and really like them they have served me well. ASR is not the most expensive , but they seem to be a quality set of arms. The Elka's ride like a caddy, deffinately a great shock.
  7. $800 means you need to save up and get some Elkas, they are the shit. Fox evos are supposed to be great as well, I have eperience with the Elkas and just get a set.
  8. Got a set on a 02 that I put on shortly after I bought it new in late01 still holding up great, so I put a set on my 96 build. They can be a pain to set if you get the adjustable uppers but you can set them for your type of riding. I like mine and have had good luck with them.
  9. Haven't had mine in the rough stuff much. So I couldn't tell ya for sure about durability. I'm sure someone here can though.
  10. Don't know what you call cheap, but trail techs are pretty descent.
  11. How is the o ring on the right side header, are the springs tight on that side? Check the cheap and easy stuff first. Good luck with the problem.
  12. Yeah Jeff does a great job, he deffinately knows his stuff!
  13. Glad you're good to go. When you said in the other thread, when you tapped the carb it would run good, that pretty much tells you that it's a fuel prob. Sometimes these issues can be electrical and act like its a fuel problem. There are alot of people here with alot of knowledge to share, and alot of kids trying to get a rise out of anyone they can with their smart mouths, just ignore the idiots and you'll be fine.
  14. There is no seperation in pressure inside the crankcase, this is different than compresion. Compresion is only in the topend not the crankcase.
  15. then there is your answer, good luck, floats and needles it is.
  16. are your float needles stuck shut? floats move freely?
  17. check your carb vents, check your fuel inlet on carbs for blockages. How much fuel is in the tank, is fuel filter clogged etc?
  18. If a frog had wing would it bump its ass everytime it jumps?
  19. Who was the mental giant that worked on the cylinders? Needs to have tools taken away from them and a spankin'.
  20. Thanks Troy, thats about the last thing and it's done. WHOOOHOOO! Jeff did a fantastic job on it, I really like it.
  21. Getting old sucks, but the alternative isn't much better!!!!!!
  22. Looks good, should stand out in a crowd. It'll look pretty sharp when done.
  23. I'm using the 1/4" staples like what was in the old cover. I tried again today and things went alot better, must have been holding my mouth wrong yesterday. Idk what was wrong yesterday but the Arrow staples were just barely going into the plastic pan and would bend over and not hold shit, today they went in like they are supposed to.
