  1. I run Royal Purple 0-40 in all my atvs a little expensive but works well.
  2. purchased serveral small parts from FAST and pleased with all, customer service is excellent ready to give advice on parts and make sure you get the right stuff for your machine and setup, if they don't have it in stock they wil get it asap.
  3. Got a throttle controll with lever and chain tensioner delivered as promised, very happy with their products.

  5. Well today I finally got my little junk put together enough to take it for a ride. Before I say anything all you people that wanna call nut swinger can STFU. I have ridden alot of atvs in my day , some pretty hot setups some plain stock and many inbetween. Kevin at HJR built my 4mil 421 drag port cub with ndown1-5 override tranny and have 17/38 gearing. This thing needs a little fine tuning on jetting, but 6 kicks on new never fired motor it fired up idles and runs like a striped ass ape that just had been scalded, wholly shit. The tranny shifts extremely smooth with little effort almost came around at half throttle when I hit 2nd. So now I see where everyone is coming from that say Kevin is the MAN is spot on, and I am very happy to be a HJR customer. Pleased is not the word, but he knows his shit for damn sure. If there is any doubt in your mind about his work believe me I'm critical of just about everything and you can deal with Kevin with confidence that you will be getting the very best in customer service, quality and craftsmanship hand down. I know there are other good builders out there, but I believe I chose the best with HJR.

  7. Got mine from ms shocks 480-982-3942. Only took a couple of weeks from order to front door.
  8. yeah I pulled it off and used some three bond on it , let it set tonight. Try it again tomorrow, however this thing sound damn mean. Guess it should being a 421 drag port, pretty excited to try it out after retorque, should be wicked!!
  9. Just got my cub put in and fired up for the first time, now to let it cool down and retorque. Is there a oring or what behind the stock clutch cover on the outside where the little circle is that says yamaha, the clymers says nothing that i can find about it. There is a small oil leak coming from there. Any thoughts?
  10. What length exhaust springs should I run on my cub with shearer in frames, the stock ones seem a little or a lot too short?
  11. Go to a website like rmatv, and look up the stock stators and see if they are the same part number or different for the different years.
  12. Well I thought I would check it again and found out that my tester was leaking where the guage threaded into the pvc cap. So I resealed the guage letting it dry and will test again tomorrow. Hopefully that is where it was leaking from, very small amount of bubbles, but it is a very small leak.
  13. I'm running a noss cool head with 20cc domes on 110 octane. 158 psi both cylinders at 600'. Machine has stock internals with boltons. Also 20cc custom cut on a +4 drag cub, don't know how it runs yet still working on the chassis.

  15. This is the product review forum, so you gave your review and most will appreciate your findings. However there will always be those who will not be satasfied unless you review for a setup just like thiers. There is a lot of information to be found here, a lot of bitchin' also. Good to hear you are pleased with your upgrade.

  17. No excuses, don't let it happen again. Change gearing or something for Pete's sake!!!!!!
  18. Just unplug the wires or cut them and then tape the wires or plugs, also pull the tors controll box, no need to have it on there.
  19. Take the beraring out, and there will be no sand or powder in the bearing!!
  20. If you don't have the tool take a 3/4 nut (bolt size) and use 1-1/8 socket to pull the retainer out then the bearing will come out the top side easily.
  21. How does butter clean the pipes, is there something to this or , are some people messing with others . Never heard of such a thing in my 40+ years.

  23. No matter how fast you are, there is somebody else faster. Sorry to hear about the four stroke issue, hope it gets better.
  24. Those look like trail tech lights and they only run on high or low depends on which wire you tie into they do not have hi/low on these lights, if your rear brake/ tail light is dim you may need ahigher output stator or check the output of your stock stator to see if its output is normal.
  25. great pipe, had a set for almost ten years now. sound great, great bottom, mid and decent top, this is on a stock machine with bolt ons. you will like them.
